If you put some sort of a divider between the two tanks next time, maybe she won’t be so determined to hop over? However, now that she knows what is in the next tank over, that may not work either. It’s just a thought. I'm thinking I may add a divider and double check the lids on my Killifish tanks now. LOL Thank you you for sharing this video. I have a stunning golden wonder killifish. This is my 2nd one after the first one got out of it’s covered tank while I was on vacation. This morning, my old and blind cat was meowing like a lunatic near the sliding glass door (approx 12 ft from the tank). I walked over to open the slider and noticed something on the floor. Thinking it was a small toy, I bent down to pick it up and nearly crapped myself when it started flopping around. I rushed my fish back to the tank and he’s doing fine 10 hours later. How did he get out of a tank with a tight fitting lid and a pinky sized hole for the air tube? How did he survive a 5 foot drop and how the heck did he travel across the room? It’s possible my super gentle cat carried him to the door even though he can’t see a thing. Regardless, his crazy meowing saved my killifish. I’d give anything to know what actually happened.

Sneaky little shrimp snatcher! Maybe try flipping the plexi with on occasion so that it curves back? Maybe there is some type of edging that will fit around the plexi, perhaps something that will make a sturdy frame for it. Hope you find a solution so she doesn’t do it again, that stinker.

That is so horrible...I really hope some babies made it. One damned determined fish. Even if you put bricks all around the edges, she would probably just beam in a robot to remove them for her. You're in far better spirits than I would be...me and lady fat belly would be having a discussion, the air would be blue with me cussing her out, lol.
