I pray Killer Mike is never forgotten, that he goes down in history. We really need those old school teachers back. We need crazy Joe from lean on me. These new ones are some cry babies. It’s crazy how everyone has forgotten the struggle. Ppl are so entitled nowadays. 🤦🏾♀️ I got a reality check a few months ago, things fell off because we let them. Them meaning my generation, I’m 41. We were so busy trying to innovate and become millionaires that we didn’t set up the next gen with the wisdom we received. Yes things were hard for us but we gave our kids so much that they cannot understand the struggle. They think the world revolves around them and what they have to say matters. Sorry it doesn’t. What u do matters, not the bumping of ur gums. We need to bring back the old school ways and wisdoms but add a entrepreneurial spin on it. These kids don’t have places to hang out anymore that is not being capitalized on in some way shape or form. My comment is long enough so I digress. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Brought my children from Jersey to Eastside Atlanta. In my opinion it was the best part of their journey to adulthood. It wasn’t always easy, but surrounded by black communities and examples of excellence motivated them to be the successful people they are. When my son was accepted to Morehouse on a full ride scholarship, I cried. Learned much I didn’t know about HBCU legacy. I may be off topic but I had to give props to the ATL
