these guys look like they would have really fun livestreams
"What're ya gonna do with those PIES, boys?" Fun Fact: The giant "King Klown" from the ending sequence, affectionately called "Klownzilla" by the Chiodo Brothers, was actually played by one of them (Charles Chiodo). Budget Friendly Fact: The $2 Million budget went primarily on production costs. The clowns and visual effects were created almost entirely by the filmmakers at very little cost. The Klowns parts were detachable, thus creating an illusion of a large number of different Klowns. Stunt SNAFU Fact: The scene in which a car is thrown over a cliff was initially intended to be far more spectacular - the car was to fly over the cliff and crash down to the ground. Unfortunately, the sling rope snapped because the effects crew members neglected to remove the stoppers from underneath the car's wheels. The result was what is seen in the final film, the car slowly tumbles over the edge and becomes caught on a tree.

Return of the clowns: The clowns masks were repainted many years later for the Ernest Halloween movie.
“What’re you gonna do? Knock my block off??” Shorty: Well, yes!! This is a camp masterpiece. 🤡 🎪 ♥️
I love re-watching this movie every once in a while. It's just silly fun. I remember being a kid and none of my friends wanting to watch this or IT with me lol. Another fun react, you two. Glad y'all had fun with it.
Mooney foreshadows his death, "You're not going to make a dummy out of me." and a dummy Jumbo made him.
A cheesy but an also entertaining horror movie with some iconic designs for the clowns with some cool creative weapons.

I really love how hard they went in the clown-theming!! It's so fun but also kinda scary in some* aspects!
9:30 the look on Grant's face as he's saying no is hilarious
I've loved this movie since I was a kid! "What're you gonna do with those pies, boys?" cracks me up every time! That, and when Mooney says, "No one makes a dummy out of me", knowing that he gets made into a ventriloquist dummy later on. Peak comedy! 😂
Great reaction! Love this movie. The Chiodo Brothers who directed and did the effects for this movie, also did the effects for Ernest Scared Stupid and Critters. Some of the costumes from this movie were reused in Ernest Scared Stupid

OMG I LOVED Ernest Scared Stupid growing up 😂
I can not describe how much I love your vibe and how you bounce of each other!
The Dahmer looking guy is stand up comedian Chrisopher Titus. He was very popular for a hot minute in the 90s. Had a sitcom too. His humor was mostly about his messed up childhood and his alcoholic dad... ya know, fun stuff 😂

Christopher Titus the tv show was called Titus. I remember the t.v. show didn't remember the comedians full name. He use to be on the Bill Maher show on HBO in the early 2000's allot as well.

This movie lent itself so well to the livestream reaction, and I had a blast watching this again with y’all
10:25 fun fact that Popcorn Gun cost a total of $7000 to make, with it being the most expensive prop to make and it took 6 weeks to build it. That being said it was a one time use only to shoot actual popcorn
To be fair no one mentions them being teens and they were in a college town so it isn't like other movies or tv shows passing off 20s and 30 somethings as high schoolers.
"Your husband was taking away in a balloon? Lady you dont need the police, you need a psychiatrist!"
Definitely the Citizen Kane of Killer Space Clown movies. Hilarious reaction. Thanks for the silliness!
I loved this movie as a kid. I can remember finding out it was coming on HBO and faked a cold to stay home and watch it 😂
When Halloween's Spooky Season comes up, I'd recommend watching Ernest Scared Stupid. It's a Halloween horror comedy classic. It stars one of my favorite actors, Jim Varney, and I watch it pretty much immediately as October starts. It's a must see movie every Halloween for me. Also, it has a connection to Killer Klowns from Outer Space. The creature effects for Ernest Scared Stupid were done by the Chiodo Brothers. The Chiodo Brothers were also the guys who wrote, directed and produced Killer Klowns from Outer Space as well as doing the practical effects and makeup. Some of the effects from Killer Klowns are actually repurposed for Ernest Scared Stupid. I think it'd make for a great and fun reaction. Perfect for the Halloween season.
First this movie, then "It" in 1990. Hollywood really wanted my whole childhood to be scarred.

When IT came out my friend and I were talking about how it freaked us out, but was also kind of cool at the same time. So my friend's dad was like "You guys want to see a REAL Clown movie?" and showed us this. We were both 9 years old. So I saw IT and this in the same week. Scarred for life for sure.
I watched this in 2011 thinking it was a cheesy, terrible old movie but these days I know it's only around today because it's so well put together.
I remember when I was a kid Stephen King's IT was shown on TV (the version with Tim Curry as Pennywise), which like many of us back then scarred me for life. So my friend's Dad was like "You guys want to see a REAL Clown movie?" and showed us this, because he thought it would be funny to scare the Hell out of us. So I saw IT and Killer Klowns in the same week. Guaranteeing I'll be afraid of Clowns for the rest of my life. However, that all said, this is in a 3-way tie for my all time favorite Horror movie along with Nightmare On Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors and Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn, for the same reason I love the other two, because it's completely batshit crazy with zero chill. I'm also completely stoked for a Horror Convention I'm attending later this year where the guys who played the main Killer Klowns along with most of the main cast will be there. I can't wait!
Fun fact, the popcorn gun prop was the most expensive prop in the movie costing $7,000 to make.
Im so glad she reacted that way to the music when they all head to town. That shit goes so damn hard.
15:17 Fun fact: Thanks to this short clip, I had a clown phobia for 7 years straight!!
“Don’t worry, Dave. All we wanna do is kill ya” WHAT A CRAZY QUOTE??
The thing about 80s movies, the beautiful thing, is they don't always have meaning or much depth...they're there just to enjoy. It was a highly creative time for cinema.
I love how this movie has been revived
The popcorn gun actually cost them a little over $7000 to make and it worked only one time. In the 80s that was a lot of money.
The popcorn gun cost $1,000 to be made and for it to acutely shoot popcorn, unfortunately it was only shot one time before it broke and couldn’t work. So ya this movie spared no expense ❤️
One of our absolute favorite movies !!! So glad yall did a react to this!!!
When I watch this movie as a kid, I guess I was too young to realize, but halfway through the movie, the cop basically steals, Debbie away from her new boyfriend and the boyfriend is perfectly fine with it he’s not mad at all lol 😂
There’s a lot of good reaction channels and your channel is one of them😤🤝🏽🤝🏽
"It was softer than I expected it to be." That's what she said? :)

Poor thing 😂😂
I respect the Roku loading screen in the background
Hell yeah make out point was a real thing, in the early 2000’s we had a top of hill spot called Squaw Peak people would drive up to to “make out” and every summer I’d go with my best friend to a small farm town and the girls we’d meet always took us up to a spot they’d call mirror lake (they’d tell ya to lay down on your back and look at the city lights below and it looked like the sky(the city lights) and the actual sky and stars looked like a lake reflecting it stars , then some how they’d always end up ontop “to look at the stars”, small town girls were sneaky lol it’s why we went back every summer lol
That was the most awesome intro!
HELL of a good flick! And no, mind you, I do not mean "so bad it's good" bull$h!t, I mean just plain awesome! I find this flick really clever and imaginative and really admire that about it.
Hopefully someone makes this movie into a game.
I feel like every time you guys say the same thing, it should be followed up with "Should we make out?" (How to train your dragon reaction moment 😂)
Fun fact these are the same creature designers who did another 80s alien movie called critters
This guy is super entertaining and is a vibe machine. I’m subscribed
For the longest time I thought this movie was a fever dream I had when I was a kid. The. Svengoolie played the movie when I was a teen and was obsessed with it
Hidden gem of a horror movie! You might wanna watch The Blob next!!
Never had a fear of clowns till I saw this film
This movie is nuts and a favourite of one of my friends haha. The angry cop dude you said sounds familiar was a voice actor in a lot of cartoons, notably Batman: The Animated Series, Spiderman and The Incredible Hulk animated series from the 90's :)

Holy shoot?? Yeah i love rhis channel this is my #2 favourite film im so happy you watched this
34:47 That's what she said. (Had to be done. Lel)
"Forget about the girls. They eat too much" 😂😂😂 Should react to One Eyed Monster lol
Your reaction to this classic movie was priceless and hilarious. Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome commentary. 🎉 Great fun watching. 😊
In a cut scene Debbie describes why she is afraid of clowns and it adds much to the movie.
The giant clown at the end is technically a kaiju, being a massive reptilian monster named ‘Clownzilla’.
Places like that do exist, there's a place called top of the world by my house 🤣
This is an all time favorite of mine. Perfect campy horror schlock
The only thing I knew about the movie was the title and a couple screen shots. I'd always kind of assumed it was aliens came to earth, came across a circus, and in order to disguise themselves dressed up as clowns. I was not prepared to find out they came down with a ship and gear already circus themed. Thank you bothfor this reaction. I'll now have at least an understanding of the film since its one of those that was on my not for me list.
Greetings from Chicago ✌️ Cody and Bridget, let's go ❤️
The "old man in the woods chasing meteors" is an old horror movie trope in everything from _The_ (original) _Blob_ to _Creepshow._ Dreamworks' _Monsters vs Aliens_ even sent up the "makeout teens go looking for the UFO" shtick.
This is the best Gremlins parody.
Saw this for the first time last year 😂 I don't hate it , kinda funny
Oh I just know since the game came out, EVERY REACTOR is now going to magically not know about this movie. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂 I'm ready for it.

This was my favorite movie growing up, I loved the monster clown designs. Its funny cause I dont like human dressed clown they look pervy but slap some monster teeth and Im good lol. I also loved their laughs in this movie
23:56 wait, are these aliens or like fea? Because them being mythical rather than scifi would make so much more sense to me
Funniest intro yet 😂!
The old guy and dog are from Spaced Invaders i think.
Total classic campy movie 🍿🤩

i’ve always remember the part with the cotton candy 😒 i’ve been seeing a lot of people reacting to this movie now even tho it’s been around for a long time now, are people reacting to it cause of the game? i hate clowns, but this is the first movie i saw with clowns in ur growing up back in the 90’s, i was about like 10 or 12? damn 34 years old, i’m 32.

Debbie is not a teenager, supposed to be 20 or so I believe.
This is such a blast 😂
DAMMIT...Most youtubers that see this movie...DONT WATCH THE BLOOPERS in the end credits...😡! The actors were not to happy to get pies thrown on them and the actress that played the dizzy blonde, she accidentally bumps her head climbing into a window and yells out F*CK!
Did you ever finish the A Nightmare on Elm Street series?
