All I want is a new KI. This is a great start. Would love the era that we can have SF6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear, Project L, Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct - all as premier fighters in every big tournament. Makes me so damn happy

We need KI 4. Its time. The last game came out in 2013. Microsoft needs to develop a studio solely for Killer Instinct. Make it talent from both Double Helix and Iron Galaxy. Also I cant exactly say I like Adam Heart and some of the team of Iron Galaxy, simply due to the fact they nerfed the game so damn much in an attempt to appease everybody, it ended up screwing everything up and at the time, he seemed to have a lot of ego and set in his ways in regards to changes people would complain about. In reality, I want Double Helix to in charge of KI and if Microsoft needs to hire them away from Amazon, they should.

Yeah Microsoft needs to just buy Iron Galaxy, and rebrand them as Ultratech Studios.....

After that intro, the entire crowd was expecting a KI 2 announce... and it didn't arrive. I mean, it's still good news that they are patching KI and adding 4K, but the disappointment is still there

​@@davidshirley4696 Choosing the right developer. Microsoft has already openly talked about that. Both teams that did the game moved on. It seems like we're getting this because Rumbleverse shut down and Iron Galaxy became available. We have not been close to a sequel for years.

Why would they announce KI 2 at a Sony run EVO? Let's have some reasonable expectations. If KI 2 is going to be announced, it's happening at a Microsoft event

@@Sdcchistorian bro we haven’t had a new game since 2013 and that wasn’t even next gen at that time come to find out which explains a lot. Of course people are itching for a new game given kis legacy and all the other fighters that keep dropping sequel after sequel. Of course we didn’t think ki devs were there just to say hi.
