Oh my gosh I'm sending my deepest heartfelt condolences to Lea Porter's family. I cannot imagine the pain her brother and mother and their determination to bring her home is just so devastating!! I am a mother myself and just the panic a parent feels when their child is sick is absolutely overwhelming and I'm literally in tears 😭. I never had family that cared about me and I ran away several times and abruptly moved away many times including the last time I ran away at 15. Nobody searched for me. Nobody ever even reported me missing. My children will NEVER experience that kind of cold hearted uncaring. I've made my own family. My husband and our children as well as two family's that unofficially adopted me. They were the only light in my childhood and it feels so good to know that you're important to the family you are born into or the one you made yourself.

Honestly if I was the friend in this scenario I wouldn't have pulled him off, I would have joined in.

Body wasn't found in the trash - only the pillowcase with her ID, clothes and cellphone. That is why it is suspected the body is elsewhere - read more about the white van and 2 others that are believed to have helped move the body somewhere.

Expressing loss, sometimes people address the deceased in order to cope better and in their own way pay respect. Death is hard. When you stub your toe and no one is around to hear you yell, it doesn't make you an idiot. Internal triggers make some people react differently than others in different intensities.
