Depends on the class, could be anything from a mild 1600 to a Millington diamond 2500. The Millington engined cars are making close to 350bhp

Usually under bonnet is bda, yb cosworth, millington, pinto/ohc, vauxhall xe, duratec, honda k serie. 220-370bhp.

I can only watch so many mark twos. Nice to see the twin cam and Sunbeam 'though. Whatever happened to all the Avengers and Chevettes? Not to mention the Imps, Anglias, Cortinas and even the execrable 911s.

With over 90 escorts doing the rally of course they would feature plenty on our video. 1 Avanger done the rally and 1 lotus cortina and no Imps.

They are mostly rebuilds mate or re-shells, you can buy a brand new MK1 and M11 body shell and all the bits to build one now. The engines are mostly outsourced units costing a fortune, same as the trans, its all huge money.

90% of them escorts are new..how they allowed in historic..but hay I not complaining..😁

There is a Historic section and a modified section in this rally. 90% of the modified are not new however. Ok some would be rebuilt and new technology but in general not that percentage are new
