I don't see how this terrain has enough variety to give us different maps all season!

I love to see the narrative side of kill team! I prefer it way more instead of the usual "meta tournaments lists" in other's batreps. Keep it up and thank you very much

Oh boy, I am looking forward to pulling out my old Jes Goodwin-era sculpts out for a Blades of Khaine force!

Awesome battle report, love the colour scheme of the Blades of Khaine. Just one thing with the Recon option (free dash action) in the scouting stage it actually gains the fly ability as well.

Good match. Getting into Kilteam what I have done is I print off of wahapedia the strategic ploys and tactical ploys for the team I'm using. I then have my own counters for CP points and I just place them on the plot I want. Makes it very easy to remember those ploys.

I do the same; I put wood meeples / cubes for strats. Printing out basically anything to make it easier to play;

Scouts look totally rad. Eldar still look liek TEH G3hy.

Scorpions Eye removes cover, so u couldnt have used cover dice in the first scorpion shooting.

Indirect and no cover are 2 different things. Cover die can be retained vs. indirect.

I feel like there's usually a bit [or more] of Gamesmanship, by Ash. Ex; At around 35:30m, the Blades of Khaine player Pops Smoke, Moves, then Shoots. Only to find out they can't Shoot due to being in the Smoke AoE. Fine, play it by the Book. Buuut... I think had it been Ash, he woulda Re-ordered, retroactively, his Actions. Move > Shoot > Smoke > Not only that, Ash doesn't give the BoK Player the option to 'But... Do Over!'. Which, outside of Competitive Play, I & my Group & I think the majority of non-Competitve players, would definitively give the offer/option &/or even insist, if the offer/option is declined. Blaster was here... & even at that, in deference to it being Ash's Channel, 'Putting Food On Kids Plates!', a lot of his Opponents decline [so in effect, the only 'friendly' way to do it is to actually insist on the 'Do Over!']

I do feel like Blades shouldn't have APL3. Instead, say for Dire Avengers, I think a more elegant mechanism would be to let them Shoot 2x per 1 Action, with the 2nd one maybe being at or -1 Attack or -1 To Hit. Maybe a bonus to Aeldari Dash Action Movement, across the board. APL3 seems really high for the Striking Scorpions, who already basically get an extra Action with Strike & Fade. [Plus a free MW2 Hit.] Literally make the Howling Banshees faster, with a bonus to both their base Movement & even more to their Dash. Maybe a 2nd Fight per Action, at -1 Attack &/or -1 To Hit, similar to Dire Avengers. Sure, keep the Exarch at APL3. Plus whatever Aspect Ability is appropriate, of course. & similar with other, upcoming Aspects. [Goin back to 2nd Edition style with Swooping Hawks dropping Grenades as they Fly over Enemies, for sure!] A flatout +1APL marker for every 2 Scouts on the board, handed out/assigned at the beginning of each Turning Point [as Orders are assigned] coulda been cool for them, too. It doesn't seem right they get APL equal to a fully grown Astartes, either. Plus add in a lil bit of extra Defense with in built Stealth Ability. Plenty of Cover &/or Stealth Abilities out there, to build from, for 'em. To me, it just goes with the KT Salvation prevailing theme, the feeling I get from it: It all seems a bit too slapdash, lazy & generally uninspired. The Terrain, no patent'd KT Upgrade Sprues for either Team & etc.. & the Jump but not Fall mechanic seems seriously lacking & very un-Narrative. Falling into the mess would easily just involve using Movement to get back up & 1 or more Mortal Wounds for being in the natural equivalent of the Necromunda Sump. 🤓 Parts 2+ should really tell the tale. Will the Terrain be exactly the same, when there's so many good+interesting Sector Mechanicus walkway shapes & buildings? & Terrain interactions/Rules; We should be able to just lay walkways on the board, too, without the struts & suchlike! [As if the struts are submerged.] Some counters to mark+include rickety walkways, too A small chance it just dumps ya in the drink type deal.

I like teams that have lot of moving parts to their rules

New intro caught me off guard

I have just received the box set as a present love that the teams come with cards and counters for the kill teams. I do hope this is how the season will continue. Having the cards on the table rather than using the book will be a massive help to a smooth running of a game. Except bar rep by the way. Looking forward to the next game in the series.
