I would prefer them to keep it with first ed. They can have both. And I feel first ed fits the theme better. Winning a custom kill team? Nice! Winning yet another squad of intercessors? Rather dull. Plus the piles of different units make it more interesting.

Tonite on POT Gear, Steve joins deathwatch for a change of pace, Rebecca steals jeans for the genestealers and JT downs a pint of nuln oil because its the only way of becoming more powerful

Loved the video! Couple of rules things: 7:16 The winner of the initiative roll gets to decide who goes first, as opposed to being required to go first like in bighammer. Also, it didn't come up here but viewers should know, in the event of a tie in the first initiative phase, the Attacker gets it. 9:39 The Scrap Pile and Ramshackle Barricade are light cover, so they do not provide obscuring. There are at least two genestealers that are more than an inch away from cover, so they are eligible targets for shooting if Steve wants to. 12:19 Re-rolling 1s is Ceaseless rather than relentless, which is only worth pointing out because relentless is a different weapon keyword that lets you reroll all your dice. They played the rule correctly though, so it's definitely a pedantic complaint. 16:02 Retaining dice as a save happens before you roll them, rather than after. 28:47 It costs 2" of movement to travel over traversable terrain, so that Genestealer should not have been able to make that charge. While Genestealers do all have a free dash action, you cannot dash and charge within the same activation. 29:06 Couple of things here: 1. Dice roll on graphic (5,4,2,1,1) does not match what Rebecca rolled on screen (4,3,3,2,1) 2. Rebecca rolled 3 hits on screen, not 2 3. Rebecca can re-roll all of her hits if that genestealer has the double rending claws, or re-roll one of her dice if it has the scything talons 4. a roll of 5 is not a crit with any of the genestealer weapon profiles 5. If she did roll a crit, then the rending special rule would have turned one of those normal hits into a crit as well 6. If she rolled a crit, she also would have hit for one extra damage because of Feed, so that would have been 6 damage minimum 32:45 You cannot use "Only in Death Does Duty End" to make a fight action, that was stated in an FAQ after the initial release of the game. You originally could, but it caused problems visavis enemies punching a model that didn't have any Wounds remaining. Steve could have just fallen back and shot though. 33:46 You do not need to be engaged in order to fight, so Rebecca could have switched the order to conceal on that Genestealer. There are a couple of other things, but they've already been pointed out by other people so they don't need to be mentioned again. If you don't mind me asking, is there any way to proactively help you guys with rules stuff while the remaining videos are being worked on? Just so that you don't have to deal with reading through rules complaints again.

was about to write most of this as a kill team player but you nailed everything I saw (and more.) I did want to add at 16:02 she also had to success which can block a crit instead of 1 normal. she blocked a single normal attack and discarded her other saving dice which made her take 4 dmg instead of 3. hopefully they can improve over the next few videos because I love watching the content, especially kill team, but there was a lot of misplays which was a bit distracting.

I assume the OP mainly meant two things: 1. Intercessor KT release 2. Vantage point changes Typing this before I've finished the video, mind you, so maybe vantage points don't even come up.

It's always a hoot to see Chaos Marine Steve playing.

We need more of Rebecca, her energy was great.

I agree 100%, this was a fun one to watch!

Even if you used the Compendium Intercessors, you forgot Balance Dataslate, that adds 1 extra model to all Compendium Space Marine Kill Teams (except Scouts and Tactical Marines). Steve shoul have 6 Intercessors :)

@@r_4_k-drone4321 I don't think Steve ever shot a Concealed Genestealer incorrectly. Maybe the moment at 17:20, but with that positioning it very well might've been that Cover Lines do around the scrap pile.

Rebecca's ability to stick to her game plan and keep scoring points while the slaves of the corpse emperor picked her army off so brutally was quite impressive for a new player.

Really cool to see Kill Team back on the channel, guys! Steve, the new Intercession Kill Team rocks and you’re going to love them.

Watching this channel has convinced me to get into 40k can’t wait to start painting my first models!

Deathwatch has endless possibilites as far as stories go. Their job as xeno-hunters but also shadowy manipulators given their relationship with Inquisitors is one of my favorite space marine bits of lore in the setting.

Quite recently found back to WH after many years and thats all because of you guys! Started looking at all "40k in 40min" and fell in love! And now all this kill team content...wow! ❤️

Loving the Killteam series. You guys are really good at breaking down how the rules work, so it's a great learning experience! Only started painting earlier this year and almost have the full terrain set of Octarius painted up, so me and my buddy are planning to play our first Killteam game this month!

I always enjoy your short, edited videos. 30-40 minutes to watch a game is way nicer than watching an entire 3 hour video.

Rebecca has a really awesome attitude, should bring her back for more. And legitimately, those speed paints are really sweet for new mini painters. I use them for my DnD minis when I have to get them to the session really super last minute. 3d print overnight, quick assembly when they're done, then hit them with speed paints plus a dry brush of a cream colour all over and they look incredibly decent.

Been enjoying the KT content, hope to see more teams on the channel!

I’ve never seen nids in kill team before! They’re such creepy little dudes - I somehow find them MORE creepy attacking in a small group than a massive tide in a full 40K game!

Not sure if it was mentioned but a slight tweak on what was mentioned regarding how fight actions work - it's not the model that CHARGED that gets to spend their dice first, it's the model that PERFORMED THE FIGHT ACTION. Small distinction but a pretty important one!
