    Few things I'd like to say: - Flea Rock showed the absolute essence of what a bboy is all about. - Luigi is one of the illest bboys out there, but he crashed about everything he tried to do. - Korea/Japan should've won this. I just feel like Luigi's crashes and sloppiness outweighs his crew's performance, while Korean/Japan was consistent throughout the battle.

    +Michael Niven Okay, then let's say that Kill's round is even and Shigekix loses his round. Then we can work out that Pocket lost his round, hence the tiebreaker. I'm not for tiebreakers, but the decision for a tie isn't so ridiculous that I can't understand it.

  • @mabalavre852

    @mabalavre852

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Kaï MSQ you talk about american bboys having fresh sets, which is false because Kid david is one of the most repetative bboy in the game, you know for sure that he will go into jackhammers in all of his sets. And SKMZ sets are pretty much the same as pre 2008 except for luigi who pretty much is the only one who is creative enough in that crew(besides cloud) to create new stuff from time to time. BTW i´m not saying SKMZ suck or anything like that what im trying to say is that american bboys are very hypocritical when it comes to originality/freshness and style. They act as if they are dope as fuck when in reality the rest of the world has taken bboying over and american bboys are left behind stagnating and become more and more irrelevant except for the 5%(vicious victor,gravity, moy etc......)

  • @mabalavre852

    +Kaï MSQ Yes comparing to kills vast arsenal of moves that he uses and kid davids 5 moves and maybe 3 freezes that he repeats by mixing in footwork and the same toprock then yes kid david is more repetitive then kill,pocket and shigekix. what makes kid david dope is his style and musicality not his "vast array of moves" that is why he did not go any further in redbull bc one 2012 because he ran out of moves in the quarter finals and started repeating.

    Never seen anyone break with a dress shirt on. Lol Great battle. Love how Shegikix at his age can show both respect and throw mad shade at the same time. Very tactical not sending pocket out for the tie breaker. Kill’s team took the tie breaker for me. Unfortunately, extremely jaded with how biased judging affects many bboy tourneys in general. Not surprised at all. Feel bad for competitors that put so much into their art and then travel across the country only to find themselves facing an uphill battle.

    Power moves are original too uknow. Originality means somein fresh n new, I'm pretty sure kill, etc showed originality through their moves, esp the Japanese bboy. And these power move boys also showed musicality in their moves, top rock and footwork doesn't always equal to musicality and style.

No disrespect but they aren't up to date with new shit transitions moves styles etc. You need only pro level bboys judging big battles I'm sorry" Okay. I see your point, but that was a little stupid. The right thing would be a complete bboy, no need to be a new school bboy, old school bboys know the essence and foundation, powermoevs too. What makes me cringe is seeing bboys commenting like "yo Kill won he did the dopest and hardest moves" it's not about what what you do, but how you do, it's a dance. Nothing against Kill, massive respect cause he is mad fucking dope, and i agree that Shigekix, Pocket and Kill won but saying that old school bboys don't know shit is absolutely stupid.

    bboykiddblack Nah !!! You're being a bit delusional. Luigi was the only sloppy one. Did you notice that the only one's synching their moves to the music we're venum, Flea, and Shigekix ??? Pocket had difficult moves but was never on beat nor did he end his sets with a clean freeze ( on beat ) like he usually does. Off of one round where Kill did one consecutive move clean ( threading 90 )and ended his set with a sloppy freeze and you still think they deserved the win afterwards ?? The way I saw it it shouldn't have even gotten to tie breaker. And the tie breaker should have gone at least another round. At this point in time where the level of difficulty is at the highest there is no room for any small mistakes or, give the victory to another group simply because they did the harder, flashy moves. Thats a judging format of the 90's era where everybody was creating and innovating. It doesn't necessary work on this level of competition. Salaam !

    Nah just Pocket. Kill is from a korean crew called Gamblerz and Shigekix is from Japan. They're not as dope as MoO but they're still an incredibly stacked team
