They just aren’t mature enough to understand her. Her life is filled with many problems yet she stays caring and tries to help people despite her soul being only half of what it was while she was alive. People judge her without being put in her shoes, she’s called the tragic priestess for a reason...

I love kikyo always have. It was strange that she would fight inuyasha when the witch brought her back first. But when she fell, You could see depth to a past yet unknown to us

Only matured people can love kikyo. Sure, After rewatch inuyasha from episode 1 to end. I came to a conclusion. Kikyo life is very tragic. Since, first time i watch inuyasha. i was like 9 Years old. And i always hate kikyo back before. i thinks she likes a villain.. But after like 10 years. i rewatch inuyasha. and get a different perspective. After become matured person. I came to a conclusion and i like kikyo more than ever. No hate to kagome though. I like she also. but kikyo is different level for me. For 18 years old women. I see kikyo is one of the most matured women in anime. And after seeing her death in Final Act Eps. 8. I shred tears for the first fucking time. Never before i crying for watching Anime/TV Series/Movies and so on. Her death is so tragic. So sad. And for you guys thinks she is villain. Remember she is already died. Her soul was just part of kagome soul. with only hatred and vegeance. but she still can get the job done. He care inuyasha too. never abuse him like kagome. i am talking before kikyo dead. My favorite kikyo qoutes is. "At last i become an ordinary woman"... She is human after all. and in her life, she cant act like a normal women. Kikyo character complexcity is for matured people. Because after we matured enough. we can see things from different perspective. No hate to kagome though. i like her too. But my favorite is kikyo. Sorry for my bad english. English isnt my native language. Peace

Iya. Hampir kbanyakan org yg tdk atau kurang memahami cerita inuyasha yg sebenarnya itu psti kbanyakan dr mreka tdk suka dg krakter kikyo ini bahkan mmbencinya. Tp bagi yg memahami, sebenarnya ssok inilah yg paling luar biasa karakternya dan patut di kagumi. Dia gadis baik hati yg bernasib malang. Ia mencintai seorang hanyo dan diadu domba oleh sesosok iblis lalu mati dg tragis dan terpisah dr cintanya. Namun begitu dlm cintanya itu mmbuatnya bereinkarnasi mnjd ssok kagome(wanita yg mmiliki sgla kbahagiaan yg belum kikyo dptkn smasa hidupnya dulu)dgn harapn bisa brtemu lg dg org yg ia cintai(inu). Akan tetapi kikyo disalahkan atas cintanya trhadap inuyasha krn sosok reinkarnasinya sendiri(kagome). Ia, kebanyakan org mmbeci kikyo karena kagome. Tp ketahuilah bahwa cinta inu yg sbenarnya itu kikyo, bukan kagome

BENER BANGET...aq SETUJU tentang HAL ITU... Bahkan aq punya INFO TAMBAHAN : Dulu pernah ada VIDEO INTERVIEW LAMA dari Penulis Manga INUYASHA yaitu RUMIKO TAKAHASHI.. Saat RUMIKO masih mengerjakan Manga INUYASHA, dia sebenarnya ingin MEMBUAT HAPPY ENDING untuk INUYASHA - KIKYO dan membuat perpisahan dengan KAGOME... Tapi setelah RUMIKO melihat bahwa banyak penonton ingin INUYASHA - KAGOME, dia akhir nya mengubah cerita nya... NYESEK aq tuh...

29 yrs old. Miss inuyasha. Remember when I was just 12 years old staying up all night, even though I was exhausted from school on Fridays, and watching anime. Inuyasha interested me, kykyo was a false villain. She was betrayed. Alot of my anime friends didnt like kykyo and always rooted for kagome. Saying "your dead kykyo, let kagome take over" if it were ever that easy for anyone!! I understood deeper than most young anime fans. Revenge can drive anyone to madness like kykyo showed. She was betrayed. But not by who she thought. So sad. Love than comes sacrifice. Sacrifice than pain, and pain to revenge.
