While i got destroyed by it in my yak-30 in the first Day it came out. So it tot "balanced" when enough people bought it later. So I don't understand your point?

It's been 8 months and this thing is still at 7.0. I came to play 7.0 in my new spitfire that I just unlocked (spitfire mk24), and this thing can turn with me, and go 300km/h faster than me on average. I tried with the attacker fb1, and its still 200km/h faster than me. It's ridiculous.

Gun gauge + gun number. 4X30mm regardless the effectiveness grants 1.7 br jump from real performance. See the Shinden j7w1; a fw190 A5 has better performance at 4.3, but the j7w1 sits at 6.0.

@@Zelectrocutica Debatable; it's superior in energy retention, but absolutely worse in the rest. You can't out turn anyone at any speed (not like the a5 which out turns Spitfires at very high speed), you can't either out climb nobody you'll fight against at any energy state unless it's very abysmal or a shitty Me262 (Germany suffers sob sob) and that a single hit on a wing is enough to make you flat spin as soon as you pull 10 degrees (while it takes three good NS45mm rounds to take down a 190 Anton) all that at 6.0 you can just wait til everyone is low and dead, or commit tenno heika banzai on someone after killing 3 in a head on row. After these huge drawbacks, superior energy retention doesn't make it for having better flight performance.

@@jameshodgson3656 It absolutely isn't faster what are you talking about? I can't confidently say it's turn isn't better but I know for a fact it's not nearly as fast, nor does it climb as well. The japanese designed the Kikka to be an improvement of the 262 to begin with. So I legitimately have no idea how you've come to that conclusion. The guns are arguably better though, I'll give you that.

Pls play the 262 A1/U1. I want you to feel the full force of balans >:)

@@liger7275 Hmm. I think that would work better for the MiG-9, because lots of people play the 262 because they want to play jets and got that one from being in the squadron. Lots of people play the regular MiG-9 too because it’s Russia’s best first jet, especially now after the Su-9 replaced the position of the La-15 so you have to get it first. If the engine power was better, but not to the point where it is better than the MiG-9 (l), then it would be a much better aircraft at its Br. I like flying it, but I feel a lot more sluggish than other jets and feel like my plane is more maneuverable than it should be, but not maneuverable enough to out turn everything you fight and energy fighting can end in a VERY close fight that either side could’ve won.

Just wait few months and it will be 7.7 or 7.3, Gaijin always do that so you buy the op thing that they offer then they raise its BR like the harriers

The problem with moving any of these planes up is the extreme compression we see at 7.0 to 9.0. I mean we already have the 7.3 262s versing sabres and Mig 15s. I could see this plane being 7.7 maybe a year ago but now I personally am not sure it has enough performence to make the difference against the 8.3s

It's still relatively op. It excells in boom and runs, is terrible at turn fighting, is decent at energy fighting, lastly I don't ever recommend challenging a head-on, the thing can't roll at hight speeds

I want to use it in CAS... would it be good in that role with the cannons it has???

You have to be directly on top of medium tanks to pop them. The yak9t is much better for grinding like that because it isnt as fast and turns better.

I bought it solely to grind the air tech tree. I was only to the Yak-9T so this thing is a godsend for the grind. Though I absolutely suck ass with the guns

I took on one of these in my F82 and noticed the poor turning performance. He had all the power to outrun and outclimb me, but he could never once get his guns on me. Ended up getting 3rd partied by what I think was some kind of premium Yak fighter, cause I never could find it in the tech trees.

Do the engines overheat like hell? I tried this thing without buying it, so I did not have the new engines researched, and they went frying in like a minute at 100%

I hate when people sit at the airfield and use the base aa and missiles to draw out hopeless matches.

Look I understand the whole "don't wanna win by AAA but if I'm ever out matched or damaged I head back to get protection I can styles land and J out repair or gain an altitude advantage. Even then you got greedy players who dive on the airfield just to get you, gotta utilize your resources in deadly situations (not abusively)

I can kill every plane I go up against in the f2 saber. I'm definitely not as fast as most of the stuff I come up against it's all just got positioning and aim. This plane should definitely be 8.0 or 7.7

Also, as far as the aim in your last match, I have noticed that for me on the low light maps if I zoom I very often miss. I put it down to the framrate difference in the low light maps on my ps4 but watching you experience the same thing it makes me think there may be something else going on.
