Im sorry but I can't stand some christians attitudes when it comes to singing "secular music" just because someone singings secular music doesn't mean they are singing for the devil and it is possible to sing secular music and still lead a spiritually healthy life. You have singers like Beyonce,Mary J Blige, Marques Houston and many other R&B and soul artists who, despite not singing gospel music still acknowledge god for their blessings.

bemaniac2 right. That part. Although I personally like gospel music I never did understand what they say if it’s secular that automatically means singing for the devil what’s wrong with love music I’m not gonna have sex or making love to Shirley Caesar so sick of the music has its place I believe it is a contradiction because gospel artist we take things from secular music and piece it together I do believe that music is music as far as from a instrumental standpoint so I would not say that it’s the devils music I do believe that certain secular music is gone too far With the cursing in the profanity and stuff like that degrading people so I do disagree with that
