Weird/wild/crazy/insane is all I can come up with - but not in a negative way. That's just crazy: fall out of bed (and die) and instantly wake up as a new person. I think about things like that a lot. Like maybe when we die, we just wake up in a new life and the old life fades like a dream as you start ti remember the "new" life as the "real" life or whatever. I guess the kid's story is so weird to me because I think about very similar things.

Actaully, you are dying and rebirthing every second or perhaps shorter than that. Our thought last second or last minute is gone. It never come back . There are only the new thought or the new consciousness occur or been born because there are contacts between your five senses and the five objects. Our death and our cells death are two very separate things. When a person dies, 99% of their cells are still alive and well and vice versa.

This also happened when my son was a toddler and we moved int his deceased Paternal Grandfather, Bill's, house. He'd talk with his invisible friend JIM. Telling him that we weren't his REAL PARENTS. His REAL PARENTS had died in a house fire in a near by village. (so I knew JIM wasn't a deceased relative) Doing some checking and SURE ENOUGH - my husband had relatives who died in a house fire, in a small near by village, about 30 years previous to our marriage. A local doctor, who I met at a conference in another state, was the only survivor and his parents had adopted him as a baby boy. My husband's Uncle JIM, survived with a severely scared body with burns over 60% of his body. Unfortunately, my husband never got a chance to meet his long lost uncle. His relatives didn't know where he was or know he had survived long after the fire, as he died shortly after i met him. At least the uncle knew his relatives had been looking for him. He had been trying to find them as well. If it hadn't been for my son talking to Ghost JIM, I wouldn't have made the connection. I never did find out who Ghost JIM was or what the connection was. We moved out of BILL's house and my son never talked to JIM again. We never did find out who JIM was or his connection to the family. There wasn't anyone else named JIM except for the current ones.

People over here remembering they past lives meanwhile I'm sitting here struggling try to remember what I ate for breakfast.

For some reason, when I was 4-6 years old, I used to have a weird dream always of me hearing someone cooking downstairs and then going to check out whats happening but then tripping, falling down the stairs, and falling into a dark hole. I always tried to keep this to myself but my siblings would give me weird looks when I told them.

As a kid even I remembered well not my past life but how I died in my past life. I was so scared of trucks and everytime they pass by I'd scream and run off to my house. I heard a wonderful tale from a Chinese man in ND. He said there was a man he knew of from his country who told a tale of reincarnation. They believe you die and your soul remembers your life after death. Then you go to a bridge where you wait to drink a bowl of soup that makes you forget your prior life. Forgetting your past life prepares you for your next life.. One man was waiting to recieve his soup when his childhood dog approached him. The distraction made him drop the soup and the man went on to be reincarnated with full memory of not only his past life but also that incident on the bridge. For some reason I found this story beautiful.

Actually it has happened with all of us. We were plant, animal, human, etc. In Hinduism, we are taught , we are nothing more than a pure spirit, Our nationalities, identities and all other things are false, We change identities ,bodies when we die in next birth. Only our spirit is permanent. We are taught that spirit is a part of Lord SadaShiva . Lord SadaShiva is like the ocean, our spirit is just like a drop of water. Every living things (even a cell) has that part of Sada Shiva. SadaShiva is creator of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Our karma in this birth decides what our next birth will be, Will we get human form again? Will we get animal form? Or Will we get some physical or mental illness in next birth? Or will we attain moksha(salvation)? Moksha means getting rid of this cycle of birth and death, Just like a drop of water which when mix with sea becomes sea itself. In the same way, when we attain moksha, our spirit which was the part of formless SadaShiva unites with it and become SadaShiva too. We can also meditate to reach to that state to understand SadaShiva. But it requires the kundalini energy to flow from seven chakras to reach to Sahastrar . This is what happened with Lord Buddha. His kundalini crossed all 7 chakras to reach sahastrar which is the place of formless SadaShiva. Read Bhagvad Gita for more details.

I don't believe in reincarnation but if it is actually reincarnation which I doubt... I think it's cause a sudden population booom means alot more baby bodies then spirits to reincarnate. If so then alot of us might not have past lives (I believe none of us have past lives)

I remember my past life and it always stuck with me growing up. always had dreams at 4-5 years old of me sitting on a stoop

I remember still sitting on a stoop of brown stone houses, the same ones in Brooklyn, New York. orange skies and people saying hi to me as they walked passed. I vividly remembered asking for money in these dreams. I believe I was a homeless person that died in Brooklyn, New York.

The soul is still pure at young, and therefore any past life or memories you have will be very vividly some are signs..some are warnings, you may even dream or have deja-vu about something you relived in a past self, as you get older a realize what life is and as you come across the temptations of this world you distance yourself from the close connection you have with your soul

When I was small,I also remembered there was my one brother of same age and I felt that I spended time and missed him later but there is no brother currently.

I did that as well. I don't really remember, most of it maybe my imagination but it checks out and matches. I don't know where I pick the details from. It was something as a kid that I had kinda hoped how my life will turn out but being a kid it becomes like a past life. Same thing with my little brother, it started with me used to say "when I was little", he then makes up stories while saying "when I was bigger", not wanting to be left behind with me.

On the contrary that is one that I don't believe. It screams fraud from miles away. There are several skeptic sites in the web that have busted this myth. An obsessed mother and grandmother ( with reincarnation), an obsessed father with WW2 aircrafts and a clever self proclaimed "therapist" ( Carol Bowman") that made them build a story to sell a book and become millionaires. Jim Tucker came into the picture when the boy was 12 years old... A huge fraud
