I saw my little sister in those little girls. I grew up very poor. I am in the USA, but as a child have been evicted from section 8 apartments where rent was only 100 dollars because my mother couldn't make bills, food and rent. I moved 13 times before high-school because of this situation. My siblings and I were in and out of foster homes because of her financial situation and also in and out of battered women shelters ( basically a homeless shelter for single moms who have been victims of abuse with nowhere to go). Many Christmases were made possible by Catholic Charities and the Salvation Army. I am extremely fortunate to have worked my way out of that situation and am able to give my children a nice stable home with food in the fridge and pantry, new clothes and anything they need. I try to fulfill their wants as best as I can without spoiling them to a point that makes them not realize that it feels good to earn things in life. With all of this said, having lived my first 18 years on this planet like many of the people you see in these videos, I can tell you that there are not many men like BI out there. I try my best to help when I can, but my goal is to get to a point where I can do what BI does and more.

For anyone wondering what the boy in the green jacket said near to the end, he said, "let's go home." It's the pure joy in his voice knowing he can sleep peacefully that makes it so meaningful. Who knows how much longer they would've been out there.

That little girl got so excited when her sister was given the money and for the older boys to hug you could tell they really, really needed it. I'd love to see some follow ups to his videos. These kids deserve to be kids and not have the weight of the world thrust upon them at such a young age.

Seeing the little girl turn in embarrassment when she said "and food money" breaks my heart ! May our Father who resides in heaven bless all who help children in need !

These are kids with the type of attitude, humility, and focus that will be able to properly make use of opportunity and a helping hand. They're selling their own teddy bears for the sake of making the rent! They're resourceful, savvy, and grateful. It was amazing to see their worry melt away for the time being. I was also pleased to see how the little girl immediately wanted to get BI's contact info. She KNOWS this is only temporary reprieve, welcome and generous as it may be. With the right opportunity, these kids will fair well.

I was born in South Africa and lived there till I was thirteen years old until my mother decided to come back to Belgium (bless her soul). So really sad to see the suffering of all my fellow citizens. But not just them, but all people across the world. What you are doing is very admirable and it is nice to see how you make a difference in these people’s lives.

Think abt it this way, if there werent any poor people why would we need to help one another. With them it gives us the oppurtunity to proove that we r all humans and shld care for each other. I come from a not so rich family myself there are 7 of us 5 kids and my parents and bcuz we r plenty it is hard to have everything we want but glory be to God my dad started his own business. It hasnt kicked off yet but it is getting better and i have faith in God that when it is our time to be delivered we will be delivered and even have enough to help others. The point of tht story is that sometimes God will put us in a bad situation to prepare our hearts to be kind enough for when we r in good situations to help others.

In Germany this is impossible. But Americans have so much anxiety about communism and socialism, that they don't want to see that inhumane capitalism is as bad as communism and that a good mixture a middle way is a golden way that actually works. I don't get broke when I need surgery, i can take the ambulance, i won't be homeless (unless i chose too), i won't die of hunger or cold. Education is free.

In Matt.7:7 we are told to "ask...and that was exactly what those kids were doing and their prayers were answered! I don't know all the answers but one thing I know is that God is great!!!!!!!!!!!!

What touched me more in this is the fact that the older girl kept asking for the number to call him later to thank him. She was adding him to her family, how cute!

Bless these poor kids! I hope they find a way to provide for themselves and stay together. They deserve happiness. Thank you for doing this for them, Uncle Bi! You're a hero in this world.

I'm glad to see this happening randomly to people. Great to know there is people who are kind. I hope the kids paid their rent up front and bought the sufficient food to eat. I do hope the eldest three kids find a good paying job. God bless the gentleman that helped them and the family too.

Selling Teddy Bears for rent, these kids make me melt. Not complaining about not getting the newest iPhone like most kids but selling what could be there only toys to help with rent so they aren't living on the streets. The look on there faces was priceless god bless BI!

If a child grows up with food and housong struggles its clearly not gonna complqin qbout Smartphone shortage believe ne. Those worries come only to Fed up human who throw away more food than they eat

I feel so sorry for those children I truly hope they get the help they need.

Why can't you keep what you have now? Or buy the sheapest one and think for other while your people are in need! Because even old TV gives you same images than a new one!

Mr Phakathi Of all the great many video's I have watched of you doing these kind things for the people in need this is the first time you have made me cry I am a 64 year old man in the U.S.A. .It makes my heart hurt to see the little ones suffer so .and to be willing to sell their teddy bears that you can clearly see have been so loved there are no words for that .Your heart must be as large as a mountain and we know that there is a special place awaiting you in heaven I have no family now they have all past on .where I live there are many homeless and in my own small way I try to help them get off the streets .some make it others don't .But oh my the children .I was never blessed with children so this hits me deeply .My prayer for you Is a long and healthy life and someday these children meet you and can tell you how much you meant to them .there can be no greater gift than to see a child grow up happy and healthy .Bless you Mr Phakathi .

I live in Australia but my family would adopt you as our kids grandad 😊 we are very close to my nanna and pop but due to covid we haven't seen our other pop for a couple of years. He has no family where he lives and I know how lonely he gets so I hope you have some loving people around you. Have a lovely Christmas 🎄
