    I used to think 60 is like, grandpa age. Like, white hair walks with a cane age. Retirement age. Now I look at my parents turning 60 soon and I'm just so glad I was wrong about that. They're the same as they've always been to me. My dad picked up kickboxing. My mom got a new job. Once they really turn old it's gonna hit me like a freight train. I'm absolutely not ready for them to get old and, god forbid, die. They're simply not allowed to. No.

    My grandma is over 90, still walks several miles a day, eats well, enjoys reading books. Seems like the age at which people are old is being pushed further and further.

    The age definitely moves but there is that noticeable moment when your parents start to look old. My dad is 56 and he's gotten to that point and it's awkward to say the least. Like these days I find it really hard to look at my grandparents and dad in the face because I just noticed they're getting older and I don't like that. 😢

    I think about that everytime John’s kids show up in videos. I remember watching Vlogbrothers when I was in middle school and John showing Henry as a baby in a few videos. He was tiny, and now he’s a whole entire person. Now he has glasses. It’s trippy, and it makes me realize how time changes so fast when you look back at it.
