(Just adding up in case of misunderstanding) Actually, what she meant when she said “I let myself go”, it isn’t about her current situation. As she mentioned earlier, Jeongyeon didn’t want to do cute, princess-style concepts, but they had to. That’s why she said she had to ‘let it go’ to fit in the concept, and the student next to her says she still looked very pretty in it.

If I was in his position, I'd like to get buried alive already. It's funny yet intimidating to see Jihyo's reaction like that when asked who's their favorite girl group and you didn't answer TWICE 😂.

I love Jeongyeon because of how honest and genuine she is her saying that she hated doing the TT pose because she was in her 20s and didn’t want to be cutesy was so real to me. I’ve always wondered idols who are adults like that if they don’t like doing cute concepts because I’m 20 and as much as I love the song TT if I had to dance all cutesy at my age I would feel uncomfortable. Also Jeongyeon subtly laughing at herself with her short hair when she saw it just shows that she did not like having that haircut lol.

It really depends on the person truly and I'm so glad Jeongyeon talked about it so openly because I remember the disputes about Sana's "shy shy shy" and a commenter who said, "You can't tell me that a grown-ass woman likes to do this kind of thing". I personally love to act all cutesy, not overboard ofc and be all silly with my besties and family, but imagining to do all aegyo 24/7 would also wear me out. In the end it just depends on the person who does it and the people who reveive it.

Yeah about her haircut, I believe I have read articles/tweets about that in the past that she didn't like it because the company have forced her to do the girl crush look. She didn't have control over that up until Summer Nights (DTNA) era I think? Her long hair in that era was GOOOOORGEOUS and she looks way waaaay more confident in that era

Jeongyeon’s honesty here is such a breath of fresh air - I think she needs more interaction with fans like this, this can be a form of healing for her. Look at her smile when she said she was pretty. Her body language and her reaction is not forced and you know she's comfortable answering and discussing her/their career. Can't want to see that smile again.

She comes from a wealthy family and I think she was raised to be very prim & proper, so she's quiet most of the time because she doesn't want to say anything that might embarrass her or cause a scandal. I remember when she was only 16 the other members were saying that she had the best posture and she talked about eating a healthy diet. Plus early on in Twice's career she was involved in that crazy incident where China attacked her for saying Taiwan was a country or showing their flag, that must have affected her. Over the years she's come out of her shell a bit and sometimes she gets pretty talkative but she hasn't changed completely.

when jeongyeon talked about her health issues and how nervous she was for her first cb stage in months i teared up. she's been through a lot and doesn't deserve the unfair criticism she gets. she's been my bias since day 1 and i'll always support her, she's such a beautiful person inside and out and is so talented. 힘든 회사 생활에 위로와 힘을 줬던 유일한 그룹.. 트와이스는 곡이 거의 다 히트해서 들으면 당시 사귄 여친들이나 그 시절이 생각남.. 그립다.. 근데 데뷔가 벌써 8년차라니 ㄷㄷ

트와이스 왕팬은 아니지만, 한해 한해 매번 트와이스가 전성기였다는걸 실감해주는 노래들 입니다 팬이 아니여도 충분히 누구나 한번쯤 꼭 들어봤을 노래 개인적으로 20년도에 나온 필 스페셜 노래가 제일 좋았던거 같네요 지금 이렇게 보니 트와이스도 세월이 많이 흘렀다는걸 다시 깨닫고 갑니다 좋은 영상 잘 봤습니다.

i agree 100%. When I listen to songs i liked a long time ago, the memories and emotion I was feeling at the time comes back to me, like the air around me just changes. I never really understood how powerful music can be until quite recently.

I love how the put the right people together. Both Jihyo and the guy went thro a lot so they could connect well. Tzuyu was put with a very talkative easy going person, making it easier for her to open upon and Jeongyeon was put with someone who had a similar temperament which was nice to see.

Jeongyeon is such a gem. I never identify myself as a K-pop fan, i'm more of a western female hip-hop lover. But Twice made me see K-Pop in such a different light. Out of the group, Jeongyeon shook me the most, especially her story throughout their journey. What a professional this girl group is. Keep it up TWICE, millions of fans worldwide is rooting for y'all 💜🤍 💖🙌🙌💖🤍💜

@@whatislife3967 Kpop is like it’s own genre. It would be considered a sub genre of pop music hence it being called Korean pop music…. Kpop has rapping but it’s not the same as the rapping in hiphop songs. (Vibe, lyricism, flow, etc). Even Korean hip hop (khiphop) is pretty different from the average kpop songs.

@@marixcx I'd say there are moments of actual hip hop songs in kpop, but it is mostly pop.

초딩때 트와이스 엄청 좋아했는데.. 신곡 나올때마다 최초공개로 보고 맨날 들은기억이있네요 작년까지만해도 신곡 꾸준히 들었지만 어쩌다가 점점 멀어지게 되서 다시 원스가 됬네요 ㅋㅋㅋ

초6인가 중1때 TT 나왔는데 그때는 무슨 감정 이였는지 모르겠는데 TT 들을때마다 존나 설렜는데 왜 그랬는지 모르겠음 그시절로 가고 싶다

"i let myself go" "But in the eyes of other people you look very pretty" i don't stan twice like that but that line made me emotional for Jeongyeon, in a society that is so focused on being a specific size, i think she needed to hear that people don't look down on her for her (very minimal) weight gain

@@Kiran-yj8tx It's unclear how she got the hernia, we just know she tried her best to participate in the comeback choreography but was too painful, and thus went through surgery. Part of the medication is an steroid, which have the side effect of increasing weight and make people more hungry, while having others impacts that makes her fine-dancing.. harder. She has been through a lot.

@@Kiran-yj8tx that's because more and more choreos that need lots of neck moves, and she did got injury in her neck while practice and hospitalised, there's also a news she got neck surgery for herniated disc, that needs a lot of rest but she push through the promotins weeks until it's done, but her condition got severe, so she took longer hiatuses for it

노래 하나 하나 나올 때마다 이 노래를 들었던 공간, 시기, 추억들이 떠올라서 기분이 뭔가 이상해요.. 트와이스를 정식 팬으로 좋아해본 적은 없지만 노래는 꼭꼭 챙겨들었던 듯.. 제 학창시절에 녹아계시네요…

i think we can all agree that twice is a part of our growing up even if we don't stan them as much!! i'm not a once but personally, they've been a part of my journey and i listen to every single title track they release and eventually learn its choreo. just like the teens in this video, i remember EXACTLY what every era of twice's songs feel like at my part, in my own life growing up

I'm older than TWICE but I'd probably cry if I had the chance to sit down and talk to Jihyo like this. Not just because she's my bias, but I really admire her determination and she just seems like someone who genuinely cares for others. I've been around since Cheer Up and I've seen how much she's grown and matured into an amazing woman ❤

I'm old enough to be her dad and I would definitely cry meeting her, knowing all the sacrifices she's had to have made to get herself to this point. She didn't/couldn't have a regular childhood and was so dedicated to her future from such a young age is so admirable. To see all that effort pay off knowing all the chances she could've quit, been distracted, slacked off, etc I'm so proud of her. She deserves all her success because she's earned every bit of it.

Jihyo always seems like such a wholesome person. Imagine spending a day with her…sounds amazing! I love how she tried to make the boy feel comfortable. She’s got amazing social skills like being very attentive but also never letting a conversation get boring. There’s honestly nothing to dislike about her! She’s good at everything, is absolutely beautiful and is just generally such a humble sweetheart. Love her.

진짜 하나씩 무대 볼 때마다 뭉클하네.. 진짜 저당시 트와이스를 좋아했던 감정 그런거 조금씩 떠오름..물론 지금도 좋아하는데 덕질 초기의 뭔가 설레는 듯한 감정이 있음

I lived in Korea for 4 years. One day I was getting my haircut and heard "Dance the Night Away" playing and shazammed it. That's how I found out about TWICE. I've been back home for almost two years now and I miss Korea so much, but this video made me remember all my happy memories there. Thanks guys :)
