As someone who sadly knows what abuse is, I guarantee you these children were not anywhere CLOSE to being abused in this video. It's an insult that you even think that it's abuse and you calling everything you see "abuse" does not make things better. Be realistic, be human and for fuck's sake stop being so stupid. Children aren't fragile ceramic dolls. They are human being and as such sometimes require forceful intervention. If I pull a child forcefully from the street, I am not ABUSING the child. If a child gets SLIGHTLY pulled out of the room because her father is on live television, that isn't abuse, you cow. She was literally sliding across the floor, not being run over by a train.

I still can't get over how much the mother made it a million times worse than it was 😂

This video still makes me laugh. Every damn time. Even funnier in 2020 now that this is a daily reality for so many of us. If this family had a vlog, I’d watch it.

Removing kids from a room is not child abuse, and it is an insult to those that have suffered ACTUAL child abuse. If you worked for even ONE day as a case worker you would have a clue what real child abuse is, it would give you nightmares.

I think that's how the kids got away and broke into the room. She had to go potty, and the kids found the perfect time to get away. LOL

I read an article written by a guy who had this happen to him. He worked at home and he said that if he locked the door his young children would scream or bang on the door that they wanted to be let in or that they wanted juice or something. He said that he has to have another adult in the house when he tries to video chat otherwise his children will just interrupt. He mentioned that a lot of work-at-home people will actually go out to their cars to have video chats because the children can be so disruptive. Children will be children.

To the people saying all he had to do was lock the door: no. The right move is for the kids to be out of the house at that time. Or at least as far away as possible within the house, like on another floor. And kept busy/quiet, even if it takes special measures like extra TV or snacks. But if they decide to go full chaos mode, which is kids' default state, right outside the door, then that noise is going right through that door anyway.

The mom might've dragged her kid but she was likely stressed with the fact "Oh my, my kids have just interrupted my husband's meeting. I gotta get these kids out of here NOW". Dragging a kid can be quite common if they know how you handle them and is often done if the kid protests. People just overexaggerate how one handles parenting, dragging kids by their arm is different from grabbing them by their shirts and dragging them out. Sure, a leg gotten stuck with the walker but that would hurt a lot less than something like a foot in the way of a door being closed.

They are doing swell, the family was later introduced in a more meeting way where BBC went back and had an interview and R. Kelly introduced his wife and kids and their names. You could tell how his wife was kind of freaking out, kids, in the husband's office, while he has an interview, he's going to get fired, more thoughts running through her mind. She could've probably approached it more calmly but when you're stressed with all of that you'll do what you gotta do, even if it means dragging the kid out which compared to what I've seen is nothing compared to the parents who make their kids eat hot sauce as punishment or get beaten and thrown into walls (or worse, stabbed or killed, one of my friends got abused to the point his mother actually stabbed him).
