Hi thank you for your videos. The day I got my EGFR results back I stumbled upon your channel. Your postive outlook is Awesome! I was in shock.when I started my research of what a 57 GFR means. Thankful I know now though. I went to the ER bc I was experincing an allergy from an antiboitoc. They ran the blood test and said I have acute kidney damage. I then took the results to my Primary Care Physican and this Wenesday I am going to have the same test run again. I am hoping that previous test result was bc I had extreme dehydration. Thanks again for the informative and postive content.❤😊

I wish I started dialysis sooner. I waited until my body became so toxic that the damage to my body was irreversible. Starting dialysis at 35 was a life changing event that was a choice made for me. The 7 years I went to North West kidney center ( Seattle) was a full time job. Ive been fortunate that someone blessed me with a kidney. A stranger that had passed away has given me a new lease on life. It has been 5 years since my transplant life could not be better. So if you are undecided like I was please listen to your doctor or in my case find on that you feel conferrable with before its to late.

I am so glad you posted this. I too am on home dialysis (PD) for a year now. But I still itch like crazy, still feel very fatigued and extremely short of breath all the time. Also have to have regular iron treatments and Epogen. Just wanted you to know I'm pleased for you and have hope from your inspiration.

Thanks for sharing. I was on PD for approximately 5 years and homeodialysis for two years before my transplant. I was able to travel abroad several times during this ordeal and everyone was very understanding about my shortcomings. Now that I have had the transplant, I’m very conscious of every aspect of life and don’t take for granted. 7 years on dialysis was a life experience I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience. There are so many emotions involved and the people around you have to have an understanding of what you are experiencing every minute, hour and day. I’m very grateful that I persevered and count my blessings everyday.😊

I have PKD which is not curable. When my kidneys go into full failure I'm going to go on palative care and pass away. I don't want to go through dialysis and all that and I'm too fat to be eligible for a transplant. I just want to get it over with and go wherever we go next. I'm only 40.

My scalp feels better, but I did figure out that I was using too strong of a shampoo and that was causing my scalp to be too dry. Which is nice because now I just buy the inexpensive shampoo. I don't know if you are suffering from the same thing but it is frustrating when you try so many different products and nothing seems to help. Thanks for watching my videos!

Wow I hate you sound so unhappy, I'm on dialysis, it been three years now at first I thought it was the end of the world, my lifestyle hasn't changed a bit except of course 3 days a week early morning dialysis, my days for whatever I wish, no more stress out job, unless I want to work and no financial worries. Enjoying my best life at 60, but I do understand some people are on a lot of meds and feel drained all the time, I thank the Most High, for being healthy and feeling great all the time and having a great outlook on life, PRAISE GOD!
