Except Nigeria gets a brutal, no nonsense president like El Salvador's Nayib Bukele, the chances that insecurity would be prioritised in this country are very slim.

Atoor. Thank you jare my brother. When Babatunde Idiagbon was treating criminality with the iron hands that it deserved, Nigerians were shouting that he was too high handed, they took over power from him and he went mute till he died, now that criminality is being handled with kid gloves, impunity in high places are not punished, justice meant only for the poor while the rich are sacred cows, where justice is selective and no longer blindfolded, what do you expect? That we continue in sin and expect the grace of God to abound? We're reaping what we have sown. The only solution is to go back to the old landmark led by an incorruptible no nonsense leader. By the time some people are beheaded for their heinous offences, others will sit tight.

If anyone had said that a time would come when Nigeria would be a country of mass kidnappings and slaughter, I would have vehemently said it's not possible. The situation is really incredible. By this April, it would be 10 years since the Chibok girls were kidnapped. I think God has answered all the prayers that have been sent to him, but faith and works must go hand in hand to achieve results.

If anyone has said in the 60s or 70s that Nigeria will become so unsecured like this, I would strongly believe such prophesy since that time. Nigeria has always been unstable. Coup everytime. No serious security policies. Corruption always going on. Citizens welfare getting worse at by every 4 years regime. Since 1960 we have not been able corrupt anything but new governments keep bringing worse experience. Then where did you get your belief that Nigeria should not be this unsecured right now? When people are hungry, and seeing gov. officials stealing and taking 140m car allowances, what can impatient ones among the citizens not do? The fact that war has not started in Nigeria is the surprise here. Nigerians are very patient. We have a very crazy system of government, one that doesn't prioritize the wellbeing of the citizens but allots crazy allowances to political offices. Just check and budget and see why people are kidnapping. Even with all that, our security personnel should catch the kidnappers, but the government is just not doing the needful. Haven't we caught security service Cheifs embezzling security funds before, so why is our insecurity surprising you? On the road, police just want to collect money from drivers without checking who and what is in the car. This has been happening since I was born and has not stopped till now, and you are still surprised that the country is so unsecured. The fact that Nigeria is still existing is a miracle. People have finished this country.

My goodness! How does this loving father survive this? Such beautiful daughters, and he seems to love them, you can see the love in the picture. God please be with him and the rest of his family, 😭🙏🏾🙏🏾💕. While the First Lady is advising us to pray, did she turn down those expensive vehicles that were ordered for her? That money could have gone into training and paying security officers to maintain order in the land. As a Christian, I am totally disappointed in her. She is a pastor, what does she think Jesus would have her do to effect change in Nigeria? “Faith without work is dead.” “God help those who help themselves.” First Lady do something tangible for our people. If you not know where to begin, reach out to Mrs. Obama.

Thank you very much my sister Adeola for always coming forth for our people here in Nigeria. Unfortunately, it is status quo with this government so far. If the government was ever serious about the security of the masses they would not have gone into government by firstly allocating exorbitant budgets for their own transportation and habitation. They would have geared majority of the financial resources towards securing the country at all cost! With security intact industry and education will thrive and Nigeria can gradually pull out of the doldrums however those ruling have already vowed to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors. Well if the sky will fall, it won't leave anyone out. Eventually, even those in armored vehicles and houses will soon begin to feel the pinch...let them carry on with their incessant calls for prayers and nonchalant attitudes.

Well-done Adeola, the fact remains that geopolitics and geostrategy is influencing all the civil wars and ethnic fights. Those who spearheaded them are anglo-saxons and the French with their NATO's alliance in order to balkanise Africa. Where do gun supply come from during Biafra and IPOB, the Libyan wan the Sudan war, the Syrian war then the ukraine and and Mali war etc... NATO's livelihood is war and would do everything to put enmity between both ethnics.
