When I think of Beans on Toast, I think of a prison guard serving it on a food tray and sliding it through a small slit in a steel door to a prisoner inside of a solitary confinement cell.

During WWII they were cutoff by the Germans for years. So they adapted to what they had and there was a very strict ration control. More people need to get out of the US and see the world. Because of the military I have spent almost half my life 20 yrs overseas.

@@extradoseofkiddandcee5953 😂 I usually laugh at your guys clap backs but in this case I think the commenter was just trying to provide a bit of a back story on why British food is the way it is. Sometimes a bit of extra knowledge is ok.

Yo you've got to be kidding, that "pizza with sausage" thingy looks fire as hell. That is a very high sausage to dough ratio. The dough looks nicely brown so provided that the sausages used weren't trash, it literally has to be good.

I highly recommend dipping your boscuits into brown or chicken or pork gravy too. Really cant go wrong.

I had a home economics class in high school and we made homemade biscuits and gravy once, it was very good. Also, Hardee's biscuit and gravy is good too.

I got the hardees recipe. You only need 2 things. Sausage, and a pack of peppermill gravy mix. Cook the sausage, take it out of the pan, leave the grease. Make the gravy per packet directions in the greasy skillet, then put the sausage back in. And thats it. Its a 90-98% match depending on your sausage choice. Just do some canned biscuits, and you've got a breakfast that isn't that much work to make. But lets be honest. This is lazy dinner-breakfast. Ain't nobody cooking in the morning unless they're trying to impress someone.

Beans on Toast is pretty good. Try It. New Zealand does fried onions on toast.

I grew up sopping bread in pork n bean juices, so I would try it. Their breakfast beans look to be similar to either pork and beans or bake beans.

Y’all are babies, my mother used to make them(1970’s) and any leftover biscuits she would make bread pudding. I don’t ever remember brown gravy except my dad would want Redeye gravy made with coffee, not my favorite

I agree with you, I have heard of older people maybe up North or Midwest US beans on toast. Those beans I see them eating in UK looks like the most basic baked beans like thin sauce. I like cookout baked beans with more flavor better too. Alot of sweet tea is TOO sweet for me, Im in NC. I know I always get flack for it lol😅 I do half and half❤ U2 are cute, keep laughin!
