I just googled "adult soft play". It's exactly what you think it would be; giant soft play with a bar. I wish I'd known about that 20 years ago.

Man. I remember going to the jungle playpen when I was a kid at every friend's birthday party around 2002 or 2003.

I wish I could still play in jungle gyms as an adult

Yeah, it's one of the reasons I've been doing calisthenics workouts. I just love hanging off the bars and swinging my legs like I used to. Of course, I know it really isn't the same thrill as jumping into a ball pit. I just take my nostalgia wherever I can get it.

You know how they have circular tracks for you to run laps in gyms? They should have monkey bars tracks like that. It'd be a fun way to build up arm strength by brachiating like a gibbon

Is it just me or was childhood more celebrated 20-30 years ago? I remember so many children’s museums etc. geared to us, playgrounds in private establishments, educational programming for kids and activities geared to kids in the community. I don’t know if I see that same dynamic culture today, everyone including kids just does the same screen activities

There is nothing sexual at all about Kidcore. The whole purpose of its existence is to comfort those who miss their childhood or maybe even didn't have a real childhood due to abuse and trauma. The Kidcore community is very strict about not letting NSFW content mix with theirs in order to keep those who have been traumatized by such things in a safe space.
