Yeah! It’s just Hollywood being Hollywood. Although this movie didn’t go to theaters, and Kid N’ Play were cooled off, producers are just about making a buck. I remember watching this low budget that had Master P all over the cover, even had his name on it. However, when watching the movie, Master P was in it for about 20 seconds tops.

That's true but they should have did a little fan service and transition the House Party franchise from Kid n Play to IMX in a Classy fashion like in the middle when Kid N Play realize it's time to pass the mic to the younger generation they pass the mic to IMX with approval saying "It's your turn to "Turn The Party out now"

I saw the first House Party in Denver, and in the Theater was half the L.A. Lakers, Byron Scott , Magic and I think Orlando Woolridge. They were playing the Nuggets that night. It was April 1990 or so.

Would've took that 100k and bought a small size apartment building in the south east, ~ 10 units.

Movie budgets sometimes have nothing to do with a base bonus or gross profit that an agency or media production gives to a well known person to star in a lower tier project with lower level performers. They are sometimes used to pay performers and crew, but not necessarily. House Party 4 was very low budget, and nobody high name was in it (Immature was well past their popularity point from when they were younger, and were grown ass men now.) But profits from an outside source like New Line/Warner Brothers, probably offered a gross amount to Kid and Play to make a cameo, which had nothing to do with production budget. So that explains why a movie with a low budget, can offer what some people consider a high amount for basically a cameo role or bit part role

House party 4 was trash its up there with i got the hook up 2 and how high 2 some of the worst movies ive ever saw i never even looked at HP5
