The word you fools are looking for is "interpolation" (also known as replayed). DJ Mustard replayed the melody of the "Show Me Love" by Robin S. and changed it a bit.

The beat gives more memories than the actual song. The song is great, but there's something about this beat that gives 2013, 2014, and 2015 vibes and memories of being younger.

Mustard sampled the song "Show me the love" by Robin S. He slowed it down and brought you "Show me" by Kid Ink. A lot of his songs have the same pattern. Mainly using a similar base line and of course 808's. I like it. He kinda brings a little back from 90's with the new generation. It's almost like we are going through a "House" phase like the 90's.

first of all show me is a remake of Robin S. show me. Paranoid has a similar Lead except a different pattern (Both prod. by DJ Mustard) & Loyal is Produced by Nic Nac, a completely different type of producer.
