Close to what I heard. What I heard is that he flew too close to the sun, and then his wings burned away... kinda like what happens when Pit flies for too long in Kid Icarus... and in Chapter 22: Scorched Feathers.

@@avi8aviate Yeah, his wings melted and he died from the fall. I feel like they're referencing Captain N in particular with that, though. Palutena's reluctance to answer is probably based on how infamously bad those tie-in cartoons were (though I'll admit to finding at least some of them So Bad, They're Good)

You can see that Sakurai made this by how many things from super smash bros he put into this, and how many things he took from this and put it into the next smash afterwards.

What exactly is this "fourth wall" thing anyway? Is it some kind of rule for games where you can't reference other games or imply or flat-out say that you're in a game? That's what I think it is.

@@avi8aviate The fourth wall is what separates us from the fictionnal world when a fictionnal character talk about things that are above his world (like the balanced gameplay of their game) then it breaks the fourth wall, there's a lotta way to break the fourth wall.

I don't really know if they could do a crossover with cave story. It would be nice though.

So much personality...and in the how to play...I wish there was a sequel.

Icarus was the son of the greek inventor Deadalus who was with him imprisoned by kind minos, they escaped with an invention made by Deadalus that were basically rushed metal wings, Icarus died because he got to confident in his flying and ignoring his fathers warnings that the wings were not finished. That is why Paletana did not tell Pit what happened to Icarus.

And Palutena foresaw Icarus saving him a multitude of times and rescued him from the ocean and resurrected him but lost all of his memories and got reborn as an infant to be reborn as an angel.

She renames him Pit because she found him in a pit at the bottom at the ocean,and Palutena also keeps his past a secret and also whenever Icarus is mentioned she changes the subject.

I literally only started watching these videos to hear the interactions. They are literally the funniest things ever.

There's a reference to Icarus, Super Smash Bros, Samus HELL even BALANCED GAMEPLAY!

I was at first wondering why Palutena sounds different here. I looked it up: apparently, the woman who provides Palutena's voice in Uprising is not the same as in Smash Bros. O.o

Developers: Ok so what should we do to teach the players our controls. Some girl: I got nothing. Some guy: Let's have the characters themselves talk about them break the fourth wall! Everyone: BRILLIANT!

In Greek Mythology, Hades and Medusa weren't evil. Medusa was just turned into that ugly creature by Hera. (HADES NEVER TRIED TO KILL HERACLES, IT WAS ALL HERA'S IDEA. she was pretty mad that Zeus kept on cheating on her) Hera's the evil one

The Power of Flight doesn't work that way. It's got the same problems as some big major machines, they need time to cool off.

Yep! Sm4sh 3ds and KI Uprising used the exact same game engine, not to mention Sakurai worked on both games.

Kyle Davis I actually found it easier to not use the stand. I felt that it got in the way more than it helped
