KICKED OFF STAGE - FULL COLUMBIA SET | Nimesh Patel | Stand Up Comedy | DESCRIPTION FOR DETAILS

Комедия

The notorious set. Please note: this was a rough version of my JOKES FOR QUARANTINE hour (filmed 9 months after this set, so you'll hear jokes you've heard before).
If you like this material, feel free to support via venmo @findingnimesh OR join my newly launched for Livestreams, HighStreams, Behind the Scenes, writing tips, and more! Patreon: www.patreon.com/findingnimesh
Putting this up after I gave a profile to The Juggernaut, and they asked one of the Columbia show organizers for her version of events. She said it was unfunny, lazy, derivative, and riddled with stereotype (www.thejuggernaut.com/nimesh-.... Strong, wrong opinion. Another said I started the set by calling women bitches, which is just a flat out lie. (www.columbiaspectator.com/the.... They all said they come out because I "harass" a crowd member, and yet at 18:11 you'll notice I look sideways - that's me seeing them come side stage, 1 minute after my "gay black" joke and 3 minutes before I start "harassing." Watch to the end for my version of events.

Apologies that jokes are redundant. I was working on the hour (JOKES FOR QUARANTINE) which was filmed Aug 2019, 9 months after this happened. Read description for full inspiration. Enjoy and thanks for watching.

U are a great act . For not only ur material but also the way u handled it Damn, you have some self control. this is one of the events rogan highlighted in his podcast with you. You're wrong about this, Yepyep. Many of these students will enter high-paying jobs at companies which think that one of Nimesh's jokes is a career ender. Seriously, think about how ridiculous that is. Nimesh's gay black man joke, at its core, is pushing the truth that being gay is not a choice. Sexuality an integral part of a person's identity. There was nothing disrespectful there. In fact, when I asked three gay men (one black), they found it affirming and amusing. While my personal experience may not represent the wider pool of gay and gay, black men, I think it likely does. These people will be managers in 5-10 years. Just think about what that means for your job.

College is supposed to develop your critical thinking skills and make your thought processes stronger. This is supposed to help you adapt and encourage change in the world. In order to do that you have to hear, not agree with, those are different things. Views other than your own. Think of it this way. If you shut down a dissenting argument you only create further division. But if you can have gentle discourse with someone you disagree with, and even draw them inches to your perspective, then you have shortened the gap and essentially won. You have to be capable of hearing their arguments to do this. If your college is shielding you then quite frankly they are denying you an education and stealing money from you. They should shield you from crimes not thought, that is their duty to protecting adult students.
