Kate, Beautiful set! 2 bits of info: Building an Apex with clear is recommended because not only doesn't it waste your colored powders, but it's the strongest dip color. It's not diluted by pigment, etc in colored ones If you need to get gel polish or top coat around a tight spot, use a liner brush Love your videos ❤️

Well I gotta say for a unlicensed dipper you are a fountain of dip knowledge I am studying cert 3 in nail tech and you sound like me teaching my bestie on how 2 dip and I ALWAYS RELIGIOUSLY DO 2 OR 3 CLEAR CAP LAYERS SO I DONT MUCK UP ME FRESH MANI. A up I end up doing 6 layers of dip all up.. 2 for the foundation 2or 3for colour just depends on how pigmented the dip powder is and then my safety net the clear capping layers... Im a OG DIPPER.....I PERSONALLY LOVE SNS NAILS OR AEON NAIL INNOVATIONS. SNS is tje mother of all dipping systems they cam out in rhe la8 80's early 90's i remember when my mom got a set put on her i was a youngdter but she was always a person who chewed her finger nails. If covid didn't happen dipping systems would not have become such a popular nail enhancement. The biggest reason i stick 2 SNS I s they have liquids line called SENSHINE it is for people who have allergies or get dip flu & I unfortunately am a dip flu person it sux so much 🤧😵‍💫. I live down under is AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 & WHEN THE EVIL COVID DECIDED 2 INVADE OZ a family in WESTERN AUSTRALIA created a DIP SYSTEM called GLAMDIP & they took a leaf out of the sns book & they made a sensitive liquid line as well and I purchased my bestie a glamdip kit and them when it arrived I seen on glamdips Facebook pages that they had a sensitive liquid I was like oh sweeet that's excellent so if I don't have enough fpr sns I go 2 glamdip it has made such a difference I can tell instantly if some1 has been doing dip nails coz of my nose 👃. The other company 2 make it big in Oz is CALLED A-DIP-TION I love there powders and some of there accessories but I'm not keen on there liquids my dip flu goes crazy and also there bottles ate not clear so ya can't tell how much is left in the bottle. I have wanted 2 purchase a Kiama sky dip system but im a lil iffy coz i don't wanna get it n get dip flu it looks really good and I love there all in 1 monomer it's 👍 oh n the french mould tray is nice 2 it's the same as my Aeon dip tray. I have rambled on enough You did a gr8 video really informative ya know ya stuff like I do

I do actually have dip powder fill videos (using other brands) but it’s the exact same steps! Just file down a bit of product, prep the exposed natural nail as you would normally, then apply dip base over the entire nail & dip! Do make sure to file off ALL lifted dip powder before applying new layers, otherwise you’ll trap moisture/bacteria which can cause greenies. Usually lifted nails turn a lighter shade of the color you used over the nail & happen most around the edges.

I have multiple bottles of my kiara sky base tops that are glued on and the bottles are still full

Yeah it’s happened to me countless times. The only way to open them after they’re glued shut is with some tools. Typically that ruins the look of the bottle though

#kcnails this was the kit that was brought 3 and a half years ago now but I chose the colour kit and my diy nail journey began and my utube channel BNAILED so I really wanted to say thanks to #kiaraskynails and with dipping powder do you have trouble with getting right to the cuticle area without looking like a 5 day grow out
