A nice video! A few things.. The Niro EV you have is the 3 trim. Just in case people get confused as Kia are releasing an EV3 in the near future (as well as EV5 ETC..). Great idea about the front and emptying out the repair kit from the boot. :) Also, on your charging port, the top part (where you connected you vehicle to load converter) is your 'type 2' port. The smaller port beneath is used when you rapid charge, the charge type being CCS. I'm also looking at a Niro EV, either in 3 trim or the new Horizon trim. You've a great EV and I'm sure it will deliver the advertised 285 miles for most of the year, maybe 250 or so in deep winter and quite likely 300+ in the hottest months.

😢fancy car is it like the tesla?i didn't know Kia made all electric cars. Your looking good. Love to hear y'all laugh and banter at each other. I've been married 22 yrs.i won't be able to ck to see if ya post for couple days I'm moving to Florida in the coming weeks . Nice car! If you have a charging cable or the V2L adapter plugged into the charge port on the car, you have to press the unlock button on the keyfob to get them out (even if the car is unlocked). This prevents other people pulling them out. The second part of the charge port is for CCS charging which is for when you use rapid chargers such as public chargers at motorway service areas. The regen uses the electric motor to slow the car down and that recuperates energy back into the battery. The brake lights do still come on when you use regen to slow down. If you pull back on the right hand paddle, you can switch on auto-regen which is where the car senses how much regen to apply based on your distance to other cars etc.

Welcome to the ev side!! I love my ev, the bottom of your charger is for fast charging, you will get used to it, I keep mine between 20 and 80% charged and only charge to 100% when going on long journeys. Enjoy it, and enjoy the money you will save from not buying petrol or diesel x

This is the KIA Niro EV3.

Not a great car I’m afraid … certainly better models about although on the plus side it’s a Kia. Everything is too plasticky, when I had my EV 3 it’s started making bizarre noises , took it back to the dealer. Not great as electric vehicles go

What an ugly lump in vile red ☀ I hope you enjoy it and it doesn't break down or burst into flames.🔥 What we do know is, its lost most of its value already and its widely reported the battery fails as the warranty runs out and costs £60,000 to replace 🙀
