Thanks for watching. Sometimes you can get away with adjusting just the cable but sometimes the shoes need adjusting too. If the lever feels good but the handbrake still isn’t great, it’s time to adjust the shoes 👠

You can do, just to make sure that the calliper isn’t giving you a false feeling of the bind. Usually pulling the calliper towards yourself on it’s sides slightly is enough though, and if I remember right the callipers are a bit of a pain in the arse to get off on these.

Hi mate . I only tighened the cable not knowing about rear shoes. But back brakes were started shuddering. Braking from high speeds. Guess i fucked up Any ideas. Great channel.

@@rodneyporter3320 sounds like the shoes may have delaminated inside. Depending on the type you have, they can be an absolute bitch to change on these if I remember right.
