I remember pulling a "1 of 175" Carter RC (considered extremely limited in 1995) at a card show when I was 14 or 15. Word spread around the venue and all the dealers were trying to buy it from me but I was keeping it until he was inducted into the HOF and cashing in for big bucks. SPOILER ALERT: Things did not go as planned. 😂

One of my favorite player all times He was the last #1 pick Overall RB to be taken in the 1995 draft. And before that was BO in 1986 just goes to show how amazing player he was.

He never got to play as himself. That pre-season injury ruined his career.

Y y’all talking as if kijana had no talent, bro was born 10 years too early Got a knee injury in the 90s Had nothing to do with work ethic or off the field issues just bad thing happened outside of his control

Ki-Jana was a good running back before he was injury-prone. He was a draft bust. He never rushed for a 1,000 yards per season or played a full season.

He was a good running back but his career cut short of his injury.

When half of the video is of practice and players talking, it says a lot.

Last RB ever taken #1 Overall in NFL draft (30 years ago now) Never even made it to regular season game before the knee tear He was never even close to the same I got to see him in 1994 in State College the year Penn State was robbed of National Title. He was remarkable. Could have been an all-time great if not for the bad luck injury. He never came close to elite level ever again Major draft bust and likely a significant reason no RB has ever gone #1 since

Irving Fryar would be a good one. Also Duce Staley

Let’s not forget that he played for a historically crud franchise. Career was doomed the night of the draft. He may have been 100% healthy and not become an all pro.

3:22 sums it up for me. 👎 He could have cut back inside, and he would have scored. The Safety was out of position. Any other known back from that era would have scored. Eddie George Faulk Martin Watters Bettis Smith Sanders Etc
