Too repetitive and sweet for Funk. Funk was raw and ragged… This is disco , sweet and structured. The genres are fraternal twins. Many many similarities between the two.

I still hope that most songs stay mostly instrumental though. Like on the previous records. This song here is like a sequel to "Evan Finds The Third Room". Sounds really similar with the same Phaser tone and repetitive vocal style. "Evan..." was also the song with the most vocals on the last record. I hope it's the same with this song. There is enough music with vocals around. Instrumental music needs to get more space in my opinion.

@@TonyRedgrave1501 An exclusive retailer describes the album as "vocal-heavy 3rd album from desert funk trio" so i guess it's gonna be different this time around. I've no problem with that but still their initial sound, atmosphere and subtle vocals along with the amazing guitar (and Laura's bass and hip sway ofc) is what drew me to them.

I had the pleasure of seeing Stephen K Amos live quite a few times, and also spoke to him after the shows. He is one of the funniest most down to earth blokes I have met in my life, and it warms my heart to see him in this video doing wholesome stuff!

This is such a beautiful song. Thanks to Spotify for randomly throwing this song on my playlist and I have been hooked on since. Its got a lovely retro disco vibe to it. And then there's that beautiful bass guitar that goes so well with the drums and the lead guitar. They don't make songs like this anymore.
