We are still in the dark with no generator and trying to keep hopes high. I would like to say to the hero’s, the lineman and other workers assisting. Thank you so much. We appreciate and support your efforts. Just not Centerpoint’s action plan. The workers are doing a fine job, they are not the problem. The problem is CenterPoint and the lack of maintenance they provide to the grid…

My entire neighborhood has power except for 25 homes. The crews left the neighborhood. I can see the blown/open fuse on the line. 10-15 min I would have power. Why would they leave an area without checking all homes to see if they have power?

Why the delay getting power restored? Reports of linemen from other states who came to help restore power are sitting in hotel rooms waiting on representatives to approve pay!???? Pay disputes are holding up their help! In the past any linemen who came from out of state got their meals and hotels paid for yet these linemen are having to pay their own way!??? Why?????

Except it did. We were out of power several times for weeks when he was mayor. Also he stole covid funding money along with not properly speaking with federal and state government for assistance.
