5:33 it's so funny to me that people go into khh expecting the polish they see in kpop as if kpop idols don't drink and smoke like kpop artists. The only difference is kpop idols do it in secret because their company makes them and khh artists do it on ig live

That's exactly what got me into KHH😂 Idols be singing about "be yourself" but have to hide their true personalities/tattoos. That's why sometimes they just snap and end up in huge scandals/controversies.

Swings basically got backlash for eliminating someone in the last season of smtm and the knetz were angry saying is he even qualified to be a judge blah blah and that he should join smtm so I think he did it to prove himself as a rapper which he did btw. I’m not too educated on smtm but that’s as far as I know. People can’t complain about why he joined when he literally got so much hate and basically forced to join Edit: please correct me if I’m wrong Also I don’t think it’s fair to hate on swings when the same few people ALWAYS go on smtm. There’s some I’ve seen on every single season yet they complain that swings joined again?

After all I actually really enjoyed swings on smtm9 because he was ACTUALLY there to show off his talent. People were pissed because he's pretty famous BUT he's unfortunately facing plenty of hate so that's why he wanted to show off himself. One thing's for sure, he definitely did great last season! Edit; to clarify, I made this video like one and a half months ago so a lot already changed I-

If he really was in it to show case his talents, he should have performed solo without any hard carry features. All he and MNET did was for publicity and clout. Just like last season. I am not disregarding him for his talent and music. But does he really need recognition? Getting hate? Deal with it. Taking somebody's else's position in the show? Not cool. Also he should focus more on his labels imo.

7:47 I disagree. When I first got into KR&B and Hip-hop, H1ghr Music was my intro into that. I only found out that AOMG was sperate from H1ghr only after I did some digging when I started listening to Loco, I fully thought H1ghr was Jay Parks only label. I kinda agree with the statement that people only talk about Sik-K and Jay Park. I think that most of the artists in H1ghr gets recognition, I do believe that there are some that are underrated (Cha Cha, Big Naughty, Trade L, Woodie).

i am kpop fan too and i just explored khh industry last year because there too many bandwagon fans out there which really annoys me. i feel bad for not telling my friends about khh and feel good at the same time because i don't want them to just hop on khh artists just because of their visuals.

2:57 holy shit this was so true for my case. When I first got into khiphop in 2018/2019 ish (I.e learning more about aomg artists like Loco and Simon Dominic bc their presence in variety shows intrigued me.) I remember having someone pop off on me because I think I had idk a profile pic with BTS’s SUGA or something like that and they told me to fuck off and listen to my Kpop groups and leave khiphop alone. For longest time I thought bc of that one individual that khiphop fandom was another toxic fandom and lost interest in learning more about anything khiphop and didn’t even bother looking into other companies. Wasn’t until 2020 when I started to get interested in learning again which I’m happy I did because I found a lot of new music that’s badass!!! Just wish that one individual didn’t push me away so I could’ve been in the fandom sooner. 🥲

That sounds hella harsh :/ some hardcore khh stans really gotta stay in their lane. I remember when I was pretty new to kpop I bought myself a bts hoodie and a classmate legit was close to beating me up for having merch after only a month of stanning them or so. Later on I was bashed for listening to groups other than bts and sigh lemme tell you khh- I still occasionally listen to some kpop songs I enjoy but I left pretty much every fandom because I was literally THROWN OUT for liking khh. Like, what the fuck 😭 I'm glad af you still managed to get into khh!!

I’d like to share my unpopular opinion. For me I absolutely hate artists like Lil Tachi and Uneducated Kid who’s whole persona seems to be a parody of black hip hop artists. Any time I see a khh artist really culturally appropriate it really turns me off to khh as a whole. I love the music and there are so many artists representing Korea so well, but it’s the many that try to act black that really bring down the genre

I can hear different opinions about Khh because here in Germany in my city i feel like nobody listens to Khh so i can never hear any opinions about these things from friends. I originally didn't want to put the text but then I was scared I might not pronounce something correctly since English ain't my mother tongue so I thought you might not understand something....but good to hear y'all could understand me 😌 And yep unfortunately I've seen plenty of people trying to legitimately make them quit smoking/drinking/taking medications even when these artists said they needed medications at the moment some people didn't approve and continued dragging them down :(
