Why this movie was a flop ? Its a great story showing the reality of the society ,politicians and corrupted gov officials . Just one writer. The legend Sreenivasan. Malayalam actor/screenwriter/director/dubbing artist and so much. He wrote this in 1988 for the movie Vellanakalude naadu starring our dearest lalettan/Mohanlal and Shobana mam. He has written many amazing script's. This is just a small part of it.

I can never forget that scene, as it was a comedy movie I never expected such a bad fate for that good girl, I just imagined how much girl must have suffered that was a traumatizing experience. Sad reality this happens everyday in our society.
Shocked to see that this movie got 5/10 in imdb ratings.... this is a sureshot masterpiece. A great film indeed. Great comedy, emotions too. My rating for this film would be 10/10 And the imdb should be 8/10 atleast. I hope u all agree.

This is a real common man story who everyday fights with his own destiny and entire corrupt system surround him. I feel sad for this movie which could not reach to common man properly otherwise it would become superhit. Really. Road rollar scene was really great. Rajpal yadav did funtastic job.

Akshay Kumar has starred in a lot of charismatic movies. Mohra, Holiday, Oh My God and the list goes on. But Khatta Meetha is his best movie. What an acting! Hats off to Akshay
