My father used to play this every night on the piano, and my brother and I fell asleep to it. My father is gone now, and this piece reminds me so much of his love for his family. She plays it so beautifully.

In questo tempo che ciascuno di noi vive angosciato da due guerre, attentati, minacce, uccisioni e stragi ascoltare e vedere per la prima volta Khatia é stato meraviglioso e splendente per me. Grazie alla madre che le ha insegnato a suonare il piano dall'età di 3 anni, ella ha dimostrato passione, tenacia e perseveranza e tutti le siamo grati per questa sua caparbietà ed eccelsa bravura. Complimenti Khatia anche per la sua elegante bellezza e per l'averci donato questo aspetto celestiale nell' interpretare con maestria i brani musicali eseguiti. Ad maiora !!!

Many composers went through very difficult times while composing this... Kathia, you are an extraordinary person with interesting feelings... :)
