I would recommend you to listen to late Gia kancheli's compositions. Through his highly simple compositions one can feel the beauty. to start, try yellow leaves by him.

My mum used to play this at night while sobbing. Still hurts me, although it's a very beautiful piece.

Khatia has the softest touch of the piano keys. I look forward to seeing what she is up to next. She is so creative. I love to listen to her play. Thank God for Khatia.

If you liked this tune, there are 2 other gymnopedies by Satie. Also check out the 6 Gnossienes. I think they are better than the gymnopedies. Oh, and the 2 Sarabande are great 😉

This song has been stuck in my head for 2 days from hearing it 2 years ago. all i could think to look up is piano instrumentals with no luck. Then today i was on nothing at all related to this and a guy in a random comment said he monitized his channel about salt water fish aquariums. So i clicked on it to see how many vids he had it was hundreds from about 4 years. So I just clicked on a random video and it was a beautiful aquarium with this song playing! Was that esp or extremely lucky odds? No name was listed of rhe song but once you have it you can just play it for Google search and it Will find it.

I don't need you or anyone else telling me which words i should and shouldn't use to describe music and the way that it makes me feel. Go attempt to repress and put words into someone else's mouth. Perhaps someone without an inner monologue, incapable of thinking for themselves. You're likely far better at manipulating them.

The tempo she uses really brings a depth to the piece I hadn't heard in others, quite the master!

I agree. Some ruin this piece by rushing through it. They have no sense of the emotion it projects if you just slow it down a bit. This is one of the best, if not the best version of this song I've seen played live

I am a massage therapist and I had randomly picked out a CD at Target to play for my clients. (It was just over 60 minutes long so I had a whole routine down) but this song was part or it, and my absolute favorite part! Unfortunately the CD is lost, or stolen long ago, but this song is so very soothing and relaxing, yet I always sensed sadness in it. Absolutely love this piece 💙

This play is incredibly awesome. This is my best Gymnopedie that I have heard.

The song is mind-bendingly mesmerizing. Her playing it kicks into warp!

I had no idea it was possible to play No.1 with such emotion. It is such a beautiful composition but has generally been recorded as something a little more mechanical than emotional. Thank you, Khatia, for breathing life into Satie's masterpiece. I can't wait to buy Labyrinth.

When i heard this song I remember my girlfriend who died on covid 19 since 2020. 3 years from now, I know it's hard to accept it.

I first heard this piece in a movie called Door Lock and have been trying to find it for so long but to no avail. I kept humming the intro, and then I came across the name and music on Instagram, leading me to KZread. I've tried listening to different people playing this music, but this one hits me most. It’s not played too fast or too slow. It feels just right, an emotion that i can't explain. Thank you for playing this piece. It sounds amazing 🫶🏻

Hello fan. Recently,I made up my mind to reach out to some of my fan here on KZread. C'est à mon avis, de loins, la meilleur interpretation que j'ai entendu. Les variations de temps sont tout simplement sublimes. Khatia éleve cette pièce à un niveau indéfinissable et probablement inatteignable.
