I was the photographer for this boat when palmer launched it. Was a absolute mess i heard with problems. Owners walked off the boat after only receiving delivery of it hours before.

That big boat sure is rocking a lot.

Yes it is, very light vessel, very difficult to dock this kind of vessel.

platform on back is where I would be most of the time....fishin' !! thumbs up from Lake George, NY 😏

It rocks way too much for it's size...docking is way too slow...and the crew has absolutely no regard for any safety protocals at all...

I live where this boat was made, Sturgeon Bay, WI, USA. Made for some Russian rich guy, we have always thought it was the ugliest boat PJ’s ever made. Might’ve also been one of their last as well, at least in USA. We were all sad to lose PJ’s in our small town.

Agree on looks. We were vacationing in Sturgeon Bay when it was being completed. Crossing the bridge downtown it was a horrible sight to see knowing PJ had previously made so many gorgeous yachts.

One would think, at this price-point, that it would be able to dock itself. But maybe not.

That boat didn't have to back in all that way, plenty of room even with wind, that boat has bow thrusters and modern controls to move anyway.

If it rocks around like that in the harbor imagine what it must do in open water... isn't that unusual for a large yacht?

Yes , it’s amazing yacht design

It weighs about as much as a normal yacht its size...why is it so unstable? Did they mismeasure the pontoons depths on the sides when they designed it? Also why is youtube saying I misspelled "mismeasure"

... they didn't even have a gyroscopic stabilizer planned and mounted ?! Not good ... and the fact that they preferred a reverse gear like this instead of a 180 ° is indicative, a raft for lake !!!

3:44 - There is absolutely zero reason for the girl on the swim platform to be so close to the edge, and what makes it worse is she is wearing no shoes, no lifejacket AND she isn't even facing the stern. She's even there from 0:56 and she isn't even calling distances, the mate on main deck aft will be doing it, so why is there at that moment, lines should already have been prepared. 4:30 - Old boy comes out with no shoes or lifejacket, but he has the minor sense to hang inside until absolutely necessary to come out. So many issues with this video. Again, No shoes, No lifejacket, No idea. COSWP Footwear.. 8.9.2 Foot injuries most often result from the wearing of unsuitable footwear (e.g. sandals, plimsolls and flip-flops) rather than from failure to wear safety shoes and boots. It is nevertheless strongly advisable that all personnel whilst at work on board ship wear appropriate safety footwear. Honestly, the quality of crew these days is horrendous, as bad as the management and leaders they work beneath.

What’s an ugly boat! I hope the owner really likes it because no one else will want to buy it. Stabilizers must be off.

Ugly color for a boat for 1, second it's in a marina and rocking n rolling all over the place while other yachts similar size do not.
