I really appreciate that Chael dedicated time to this topic. Not many read past headlines and self-reporting will defintaly get lost in translation to most people when it's in the machine. Khalil is an excellent fighter, very disappointed to lose that event it was going to be a good one.

Really sucks for Roundtree 34 years old twilight of his prime and this was a huge opportunity to light up Hill and get a title shot, dont know if he will get another chance like this.

I do love to play the part of Devils advocat-o. What if? and this is a genuinely feasible possibility. What if, we as fans are just more willing to accept the excuse of tainted supplement from the same calibre of fighter as Khalil Roundtree. I'll, explain.. When we think of athletes and steroid/ped use, we think of noticable differences in output, strength, stamina, skill set, recovery so and on and so fourth.. Steroid use usually goes hand in hand with some sort of positive evolution usually amounting to some level of success... What if, Khalil is genuienly juiced to the eyeballs but is just terrible. We're likely to believe his excuses because we've clearly not seen enhanced performances that would suggest performance enhancing drugs. I'll just end by saying this, "I've wrote to much to back out now" I didn't write a single word with the intention of coming across like a hater. Just a genuine pugilist, combat sports purist whos probably a whole cheesewheel more neuro-divergent than he presents.

Why the heck UFC guys admit if they took dhea is beyond me... just stop taking it and it's out of your system in no time.

That’s what they popped Bobby Green for a while ago. I take DHEA that I got from The Vitamin Shoppe or whatever it’s called. I don’t know what the problem is.

I was really looking forward to Hill vs Roundtree, sad. However Ulberg is an excellent replacement.

Similar situation to what Lyoto Machida was suspended for. He had also taken DHEA and fully disclosed it, completely assuming that there was nothing wrong with it. But while Khalil seems to be getting away with a 2 month suspension, they hit Lyoto with 18 months. From what I'm hearing, DHEA seems to not really be a big deal in terms of "performance enhancing" anyway. I think when we talk about shameless cheaters, we're probably thinking Dillashaw, Vitor, Overeem, Jones and Uncle Chael, but certainly not Khalil or Machida.

DHEA is a common agent used in the supplement industry since it's legal if you aren't competing at a professional level. This is just as much Khalils fault as the company he used

DHEA doesn't even really increase T levels for men. It does for women, but not men. Which begs the question, why don't we have separate, different banned substance lists for men and women? (The reason it affects men and women different has to do with how we produce testosterone. Primarily made in the testes for men but for women it comes primarily from converting DHEA to testosterone (DHEA is an endogenous hormone, we all produce it naturally))

Can't forget about suga sean getting banned for 2 years but no one ever mentions that now. So I think it is possible to not have a permanent bad mark against your name in the eyes of the public
