Khalifé - Schumacher - Tristano live 2012 | Music'n'Migration Festival @ Kesselhaus Berlin
It was only a matter of time until the two stars of Luxembourg's jazz scene would get together in a musical project. Now Pascal Schumacher and Francesco Tristano, who have both been selected as "Rising Stars" by the European Concert Hall Organization (ECHO), perform as a trio with the Lebanese percussionist Bachar Khalifé and share with the audience some fascinating insights on the beauty of the journey into the contemporary sound experience. All of them are experiment-joyful, experienced virtuosi on their respective instruments (vibraphone, piano and percussion) with a strong tendency towards composition and improvisation. The program develops lyric and meditative phases, further spinning a web of closely woven sound threads and spatial loops, all coupled with an unusual handling of the instruments.

Iif it wasn't for those uselessly annoying screams, I could put that video on repeat and enjoy it for hours.
