Violinist with strong character........kind enough to give this concerto a reading that involves risk.....we have to listen to what is going on....so much can be said with this concerto......orchestra played exquisitely...thanks.

I've had the chance to hear him with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, it was absolutely breathtaking.

The Khatchaturian Violin Concerto will be on the program this Tuesday evening’s program for the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl. Also to be played are Khatchaturian’s Spartacus suite No 2 and Stravinsky’s Firebird suite of 1919.

Too nervous of a vibrato to my taste.... 33'57" onwards....sounds like howling...take it easy...ruining the delicate melody my man
