@@marcusbailey3988 The UFC went to Pettis with the offer who was already on the card and had made weight but he refused due to money issues. Also Felder who had also made meight was an option but the commision didn't allow him to fight for the title because he 'too low ranked'. They were never announced officially but they were approached before Al. Helwani and other credible reported it.

Al did the best when it came to fighting khabib, he denied a few takedowns,landed some really clean shots and was able to go the distance through all 5 rounds. Not many have been able to do that

Kinda crazy how many opponents Khabib had to prepare for this event, really shows his greatness as other fighters would pull out especially for a title fight just like Jon Jones refusing to fight Sonnen and forcing the ufc to cancel the entire card

Al not being allowed to fight for the belt is what makes me mad about this week, commission weighed him in at 155.2 which is fine for a non-title bout but after weigh-in deadline he was announced to fight so was unable to retrospectively weigh in at 155

the UFC should have a raffle/lottery type fight for Each division where there will be a completely RANDOM fight where the fighters will only be told a day before WHO they are fighting the NEXT DAY , that will up PPV’s for sure
