Yes we had kings / sultans before. They lead Ottoman Empire and we were the strongest empire those times. But later our empire stayed away from science and technology and they started to fall. After the first world war Europian countries shared our country and invaded. But we had the greatest leader named Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. With his lead and his commanders and of course brave people we have won our independent war agains nearly whole world ❤️
