Kgalagadi: One night at Urikaruus...
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
During this short spring visit to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park we see 5 different predators (2x Brown Hyena, Cape Fox, Leopard, Lion) on our first night at Urikaruus, meet the cutest lion cubs at Polentswa and see 12 cheetahs in 3 sightings on our way out.
In between we stay at Bitterpan and Gharagab and see lots of birds, bat-eared foxes and the like.
Please note: This is the English version of the video "Kgalagadi Blitsbesoek met fantastiese sightings"

Thank you. We were indeed blessed to see so much in such a short time. Sometimes I think I should not share these videos as it may cause more people to want to go and it is already very difficult to secure a booking! :-)

@@overlandersa thank u for those of us who can't go....just hope that alll these videos from other groups doesn't expose the defenseless animals to unconscious poachers . They are indeed beautiful. 💯👍🏾💥

This would have been a Canon R6 with the RF 100-500mm lens. And a few shots with an old GoPro.

I have no idea what that means, but I assume it's positive :-)
“Background” music ruins everything (In my honest opinion)

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I know there was an issue with the sound in the Tankwa Karoo video, but this is the first negative comment on the music in this video, so I would like to understand the issue better, e.g. is the music too loud, is the music inappropriate, or would you prefer no background music at all? Thanks!

The added, incongruous, music detracts from your video by adding an additional layer of superfluousness. The subtle yet powerful, statement of Africa’s nocturnal sound is all that your stunning video requires. Yes, I’m of the opinion that nature’s orchestra is sufficiently pleasing to the ear without being supplemented with music. Thanks for the opportunity of my opinion and for sharing your stunning overland experience. Merv.

Yes, I would love to hear just the sounds of the bush. I find the music quite distracting. Great footage of the wildlife though!
