KF51 PANTHER - The Ultimate Battle Tank in 1/35 Scale, MODEL WEATHERING - Part 3

KF51 PANTHER is Amusing Hobby kit in 1/35 scale (35A047). It's not Panther we all know, it's just coincidence of names and nothing more. Here it seems more like we have the latest version of Leopard 2, but that's not true either. This is a completely new 4th generation main battle tank using the latest technological solutions designed by Rheinmetall.
Please check the links to watch full episodes with open the box, building and weathering of this ultimate battle tank.
There is also full build tutorial with all shortened episodes.

    Hello from Denmark. I like the KF51, and i really like your model of it. You brought it to life.. Regarding your little problem with painting the fastening robes to the Baarracuda netting, I soke the string in paint before. Much easier. You really show a lot of great methods. The underside (not always forgotten), but wow. Loved it... Best Regards. Alex

    Hey Lukasz, that tissue paper technique is fire! As usual, your compositions on the tank surfaces are amazing🙌🏽 quick question regarding microballons. From my understanding, isn’t that a form of pulverized glass(asbestos)? I read that it can be dangerous without masking if it enters your lungs. I’m sure that AK would be able to provide an answer for you since you know the company well. I just want to make sure you know since you have such a beautiful family around the modeling bench. Cheers and thanks again for the tutorial!👍🏾

    Very nice result, there are very few tanks with white washes (winter camo) in modeller forums. It is rarely done anymore in real life because it is a hell of work to get it off a tank, we usually now just use white stripes of sheet and the regular natural camouflage on Leopards. A little info for the red markings on the tracks, we paint the link where the track got connected red so we know where the track was "opened" and closed. On my Kf-51 i went for the regular dusty look, not the very muddy one :D But that's the nice things with tanks, helicopters that never really entered service, you can go really crazy on a what-if scenario.

  • @coldemonspl

    @coldemonspl

    9 ай бұрын

    I probably wouldn't want to paint white camo on a real tank, but recently I saw a series of photos of Leopards from a Polish unit and they had camo painted with washable paint. Each tank had a different variant of spots and stripes. Interesting but a lot of washing for sure! Thank you very much for the information about the red points on the tracks. And you're right about vehicles in the design phase - we can fantasize! :):):)

    @@coldemonspl well we were on an exercise with polish tank forces but not during the winter, in the German army when white wash color was used only the green camouflage was painted with the white, of course since it was hand painted it could vary from the vehicle slightly. But in the end the tanks were camouflaged with branches and all that stuff. But yes it could be possible that Poland still uses the camo on their tanks I could imagine Sweden would also do that. Happy modelling :)
