Keystone Bullet Crossfire 1850RB Suspension Upgrade

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

This video shows how I swapped out my stock leaf spring, solid axle suspension on my 2021 Keystone Bullet Crossfire 1850RB and installed the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension System. This is not a how to video, do not replicate the work I have done. I am just sharing what I have done with my trailer and some of the challenges that I faced doing this upgrade.
This is the system I installed.

Awesome work with lots of consideration to details! I'm glad that we could assist you with the replacement springs. Please consider making another video to demonstrate how you assess the performance of the suspension (ride quality, stability, tracking, etc.) and compare it to the original axle. You should also take note of the improvement in braking power, as the brakes on your new axle are 12 inches compared to the original 10-inch brakes on your 4400.

Thanks for the video. I'm refraining my Vintage Cruiser after a trip to Alaska my tounge was bent up about 3 inches and the front wall was floating from the floor. New tounge a frame is being added but it's 4 inches closer to the ground. Now I need a 4 inch lift, I'm looking at the Timber system. Thanks for your option an weight values.

Need some new videos of your Mako. Please keep those boating videos coming! That’s what originally brought me to your channel. Your boating videos have always been solid. Thanks

How did these work for you? Was it a noticeable difference in ride quality?

I'd sy the ride is much better, certainly quieter and a lost less vibration. The only thing I am not sure I am happy with is the amount the system sags even with the 7k rated springs. I think I barely get an inch of compression so not a ton of travel in the system.
