That is definitely not lip synced, you can hear her breathing, she changes her phrasing of certain lyrics and especially the ending. I'm so tired of non-singers always commenting on singers. Soul Train plays a track on the show, true, but not their award shows. Do YOUR homework! Not just what u want to believe.

I cry everytime i hear this because one day i caught my grandma singing this and I asked her , Ma how u kno that song, she said "sometimes songs a jus relatable and it comes in the radio too much" lol My grandpa made alot of decisions that tore apart my family, closed our businesses, and scarred us for generations. My grandma has dementia now and cries alot. All I remember is catching her singing this song, and hoping her fondest memories aren't of heartbreak. Granny I love u so much, Keyshia ur pain seeped thru this performance. This song will stick with me forever.

I was completely taken away, if anyone stops on this video you will be overwhelmed, Ms Keyshia Cole was in a zone very few artist can achieve during a live performance, notice how Tyrese couldn't touch her power.

She proved me wrong in this performance lol. She sounded better than the studio version, and that’s not easy to do. I used to be one of the ones who didn’t think she could sing. Like wow, I’m shook 😂

It’s lowkey SICK the way y’all really REFUSE to give Keyshia her props. You can tell for a FACT that it's COMPLETELY live and NOT lip-synced because the mic got some feedback when her vocals peaked (that's assuming there wuzn't a compressor...if there wuz, it should've been adjusted just a bit) and you could literally place every breath with what she wuz doing onstage. No one, and I mean NO ONE can lip-sync that good. Not even MiMi herself is THAT good. AWESOME job Keyshia! Good throwback here....

This is the best live performance or even recording (for those who doubt this) I have ever watched/listened to. I know Keyshia ain't the queen of singing techniques but damn, it takes an authentic and resistant singer to sing this song in this manner. After 2:34 it becomes so difficult it's incredible her body and pipes can stand it and that climax she came up with leaves everyone speechless, as if something had just broken, I think it was her and the audience/viewers.

This is the best I've heard her live.
