My '96 Ciera is a wagon version. The green connector is behind the little storage pocket on the left side of the hatch area. Two phillips screws removes the pocket, revealing the connector. Thanks for the instructions, it worked great. I now have two remotes paired and a third that I was able to test (but only 2 are able to be paired at once).

It worked on my 1993 Oldsmobile! If you don't have that green connector, look and see if there is a TRW control box mounted to the drivers side fender in the trunk beneath the liner. If not, you can't program a remote to your car.

i have a fob from my old 1996 ciera same as yours, i just purchased a new used 1996 ciera.. can I use my old fob from my first car on the one I just bought? or does this only work if the fob was never used or programmed prior?

So I have a 93 cutlass cirera I have the exact car as u, do I have to have the car with key on engine off or do you have to leave it off or running, as I did try this and it did not work??? I hope u answer back

Where do I find the green fuse? I found the coiled wire but the fuse isnt connected
