    @@Scragg- I have one of these, and the stabilizers are wobbly compared to premium ones, but are very good for a prebuilt keyboards, I really like the board.

    Doing the stabilized keys first and checking to make sure they’re all smooth before putting the rest of the switches in makes so much sense.

    Fred Quijada I just did all these mods to mine, it took me about 6 hours or so, spread across two days. And yes, I’d say it was worth it. The sounds and feel are amazing now.

I've been wanting to do this to my keychron since I watched your video (I've never done a mod before) and I finally got done today, and I cannot believe how much of a difference it makes.     Thanks for this video, very detailed. I watched this 2 times and then I was able to do everything on my own on my K4. Board and switch disassembly, lubing everything. Altho I was more generous with the foam I just cut it to size -leaving out te battery- and then just pushed it to place tearing a hole for the standoffs. I also didn't felt the need to lube the springs I instead went and lubed the tops and bottoms of the switches. I guess it's the same result. All in all I'm really happy with the result, thanks to your video.

    Tatsuya Karuga Hasebe it is but if that’s what you mean by customisable then most mechanical keebs are customisable. By having the hot swap option it makes it easier and you don’t run the same risk of killing the PCB. For what I think was £10 more than the non hot swappable options I think it’s worth.

    i used dyno-mat in my K6 case instead of foam, after pressing it in i had to pull the aluminum skin off so the switches wouldn't short out. the result is amazing. i'll never use foam in any of my KB's again. highly suggest it
