Thank you so much Freeman! We definitely plan on going back to Key West again, hopefully this year! It's such a laid back place we'd love to visit every year and the food is amazing! I'm sure those restaurants will still be open when you get there. Maybe take a trip down there sometime and spend a week exploring the island. There's a lot to see! 😊

Yay been to key west many times and am going soon. As a vegan I decided to check for some vegan places that I possibly missed in years past. Mostly it’s all repeats for me but I’m loving this for people new to key west and or new to veganism. Great details 🤗

Wow I live in Florida. I can’t believe that was October of 2019. It can be really rainy then! Awesome! I will let you know but I’m actually bringing some vegan stuff including the Vegan tofu sub from Publix but I will let you know! I guess blue heaven cheesecake wasn’t the best? 😂

The Vegan tofu sub from Publix is legit. However if you order it -- it changes Publix to Publix. Lol. It’s still good. Key west bound heading to the cafe. Thanks again!

I saw the ending and couldn't help but laugh... What did u order that wasnt vegan?I thought the Burrito was vegetarian? what is the difference between Vegan and Vegetarian?

The difference with vegan is that we don't eat meat plus no dairy or eggs. So when the burrito came out, we felt so bad because it had eggs and cheese on it. It did have veggie sausage which meant it was vegetarian but not vegan. We're so careful when we order because we hate wasting food. It was a super delicious breakfast though! Omg. So excited for you to taste some good meals! Keep experimenting and let us know if you find any favorites!

Hi it's a great video. Is it worth for vegetarians to go to latitudes key West for lunch? And what would be the budget range for 2 people. Is it a very expensive place to eat? Could you please let me know. Thankyou 😊

Great question Harika! We'd say Latitudes is definitely a good place for vegetarians if you want the most amazing view that includes a nice boat ride! There's a few things on the menu that are actually vegan even though the restaurant if very seafood themed. There's gazpacho soup, vegan tacos, and even sorbet for dessert. For something more amazing though we asked them if the chef could prepare a vegan entree and they made an amazing plate with gourmet veggies and potatoes that was so good! Really what you're paying for is having a nice meal on an island with a view and a boat ride but the food is actually very good! You can probably expect to pay anywhere from $30+ per person if you're getting a meal and a drink but it's worth it for the experience. Hope that helps!

Definitely Cathy! We'll have to go back through and add some chapters to make it easier to find. We always have our favorites when we visit Key West though like The Cafe, Date & Thyme, Bad Boy Burritos, Ana's Cuban Cafe (for the coffee & potatoes), Sugar Apple Cafe, and recently we discovered Moondog Cafe. They're all so good! I hope that helps! 😋

Vegan potatoes? Lol I didn’t know there was a such thing as non-vegan potatoes 🥔 😅

Haha! True, technically the potatoes are vegan but they're usually cooked in butter and bacon grease. Coconut and olive oil are so much better! 😋

Just found this video going to key west in may. For vegan mashed potatoes I use potatoes vegan butter salt pepper and beef broth yummy

That's a tough one! Key West has become extremely expensive to where we now try to reserve camping spots if we can or even stay a little more north on some of the other islands and drive into Key West. During some of the more popular events, the prices are crazy! We also considered sharing with a bunch of friends to keep the price a little more manageable. 💸

Soooo uh, no one's gonna say anything about the guy in the string thong at 12:04.....
