A jazzed up version of what is a rather sad and somber song, and good lord does it work!! You tap your feet, sway, bonce and swing. This is a terrific,.. no, make that a great example of what a good singer and a big band can do with a song. I never tire of listening to this.

Excellent, I love that movie !!! As Kevin Spacey did I also grew up hearing Bobby's songs, so when he produced the picture it was like a back to my childhood journey for me. I was 15 on December 20, 1973 and couldn't believe that Bobby was dead at 37 years young. To me he is like Argentina's Carlos Gardel who "sings better every day", cada día canta mejor !!! I understand that it's Mr Spacey's voice wehear. Heroes an incredibly on-spot recreation of MrDarrin. Terrific.

Honest to god, if this song doesn't get you up and dancing- with someone or just yourself- you better check your pulse. Especially when those trombones slide around 2:30 in this song and the song rides out to the end. When I saw this in the theatre, I was the only one there for that Monday afternoon matinee but when this hit the screen, that brass screaming, it hit like a freight train. Great performance!!

Darin’s singing was good but almost too good for the song. The lyrics are amazing but you don’t even get to pay attention to them because all of it goes to Darin’s amazing performance. While Spacey did great here, his performance isn’t as distracting and engaging, letting you take more away from the lyrics
