Not only is Kevin Pollack a great storyteller, he's a hell of an actor. He has been in so many major movies and is always fantastic.

And a great impressionist too. He has a special he did from a long time ago where he tells stories about Christopher Walken and others and they're hilarious. ("The Littlest Suspect")

Criminally under rated comedian, impressionist and actor. Been watching his standup since I was a kid. His William Shatner impression is one of the most incredible artistic things to witness. And WHAT a story teller

Um... have you never listened to any of his podcasts? They're usually 2 hours long and in one of them he does it completely in character as Christopher Walken. It's like you're saying, "This Al Pacino guy thinks he's such a hot actor. He should try some Shakespeare!"
You can see in this that a) Jack is exactly who you think Jack might be, and b) that Jack extended an olive branch of confidence to Kevin, by being completely authentic in a moment of grief. What a way to try to break through Kevin's self-imposed barriers.

Two things can be true simultaneously.
#1 I find it surreal that Nicholson told him this. #2 Any time an actor with Nicholson's reputation asks you "You wanna know surreal?" you just know a bomb's about to go off in the room so pay attention. Great story.
My favorite compliment that someone said of Jack Nicholson, "He's the greatest writer that I've ever read."
I love this lol "So do you have any Tom Cruise stories?" proceeds to talk about Jack Nicholson for 10 minutes
I just recently watched China Town for the first time just because of this story by the great Kevin pollock. Great flick and the actual scene on the final movie is amazing, as is the whole movie. Thank you Kevin for the story.
“Yes, well… I guess I’m not there yet” 😂
Kevin's stories are the absolute best. Him being a master impressionist pulls you right in.
That Nicholson story...pure comedy gold!!! 🤣 🤣🤣🤣
What a great storyteller.
Pollak is AMAZING. Thanks for sharing this segment!!!!!
Been a big fan of Kevin ever since 1977. I was working at The Antique restaurant in Los Gatos and he was a good friend of our head bartender. He would do his Columbo routine for the bar crowd and it always killed!
Kevin Pollak is a gottdamm American treasure.
the fact that he nails the Nicholson impressions makes the story.

Kevin has to be one of the greatest talk show guests ever. As an actor and comedian, he's always flown under the radar, but been able to collect some incredible credits. And as we know, worked with some very high profile names in film.
My brother and I saw Kevin doing standup in a tiny comedy club back in the 80s before he was really famous. He absolutely killed. He was so freaking funny and did such brilliant impersonations. We knew he was going to be a star.
There’s nothing like a great storyteller.
Kevin Pollack is a consistently excellent story teller. And impersonator.
No click bait here! That is an AMAZING story if I'd ever heard one!!!
What an engaging storyteller Mr Pollak is!

Kevin Pollack one of those great actors who’s consistent functionality in the role seems to work against his own celebrity. He’s the guy people forget was in the movie sometimes, but he’s always good. Every time. Severely underrated.
That was amazing.

Hearing this well known story about Rob Reiner making the actors do 20, 30, and even 40 takes for scenes reminds us of how much better of a director Clint Eastwood is. Eastwood is famous for having actors do 2 or 3, and even just one take for a scene if he sees perfection right away. FACTS.
such an underrated cat....LOVE this guy. There's a reason why he's been in the business over 3 decades. He's a GEM. A hilarious, class act, who has a soft spot in my heart because he always wears nice timepieces....like me.
This is golden ,what a great interview, and what a great impersonation of Jac Nicholson by mr, Pollak , 😂😂😂😂

OMG this was fantastic 🤩 soo humble, Absolutely love 💕 this guy! Thanks for the interview ❤❤❤
Kevin Pollak is a consummate professional, an incredibly gifted actor and did a great job in this film, as usual. We used to go watch him do standup in SF back in the day and he was hilarious! His impressions were often side-splittingly funny. A very humble man. This story is priceless.
My favorite delivery of a line that he gives, "Do you think you brought enough guys?" from The Usual Suspect.
Kevin doing Nicholson doing Huston is priceless.
Man he's Aged. Legit him in Grumpy Old Men was Class Acting

Kevin is a marvel! How he imitates Jack is certainly entertaining!
Kevin Pollack is HILARIOUS!!!
What a great story and also quite good impression of Jack Nicholson
Damn… that impression is ridiculously spot on. Wow.
One of my favourite interviews ever!
Kevin is always a delight to watch but kudos to the crew of TRES for letting him speak without interruption. I like The Michael Rosenbaum's how due to his cool guests and interesting conversations but he, quite often, cuts the guest and yaps a while killing the momentum and somehow making it all about him, even if though it is only momentarily.
I want to see more of this, but stories about Christopher Walken from Pollak. Lol he's one of the best when it comes to celebrity impressions!
Brilliant stuff. Kevin thanks for sharing.
THIS CHANNEL HAS GROWN SO MUCH! i remember watching every year back in the 1-2k viewer days and i always thought why isnt this bigger?
Pollak was awesome in The Usual Suspects: the one guy who didn't give a ****** about anybody.
What a story. Kevin's stand up was outstanding back in the day. He never seemed to go back to stand up. Which is unfortunate.
Kevin Pollock is one of the best impressionists I've ever heard. His impressions of Jack Nicholson and Christopher Walken are flawless!
